This was my entry-level job into the mental health field.Pros: they were one of the few companies who would take someone with virtually no experience. There were also some awesome supervisors (and co-workers and clients) who I had the opportunity to work with. The flexibility of the scheduling (I did relief) was great to work around my schooling.Cons: This place treats their employees quite poorly. They allow them to work in unsafe/unclean/unfair conditions, and if you speak up, it will be held against you. The way this 'business' is operated reminds me of the mafia lol. One of my supervisors (who had a horrible reputation) would yell and threaten the employees, who had no choice but to take it because they had no other income, and families to support. If a client gets angry and attacks you, do not expect Supported Lifestyles to support you; they would blame you for getting attacked.

I had tried to make a freind through their buds group and this didn't work out due to their company policy not to give out emails and having made an effort to try and do so this wasn't the best course one staff had been ok the other one not so much barry

Hi there. My name is caitlinI would like to first say DONT JUDGE THIS AGENCY BASED ON THE REVIEWS ALONE. THIS AGENCY IS AMAZING. I KNOW CAUSE I AM A CLIENT.I highly recommend working or living at supported lifestyles! I have been living in one of the homes with supported lifestyles for almost 11 years now. I could not ask for a better agency. They have been there through my really tough times and they have created really amazing times. The complex needs coordinator and complexneeds program director of my team are always making sure i am doing well and checking in with me regularly. The support approach consultants are always trying to make the team find new ways to better support me and trying to make a diffrence in my living goals. I have changed since i first came to supported lifestyles. I have this wonderful agency to thank for my progress and goals that i have accomplished and goals that i am currently trying to reach. The two house team leaders for me are always going above and beyond to make sure things are thriving and going really well. The amazing staffing team i have supporting me is the reason why i am who i am today. They have never given up on me after all this time 11 years is a very long time and i have loved every step of the way.  THANKYOU SUPPORTED LIFESTYLES FOR NEVER GIVING UP ON ME. THIS TEAM WILL FOREVER BE MY HOME. I AM PROUD TO CALL SUPPORTED LIFESTYLES MY HOME.

We've worked with Supported Lifestyles for quite some time and they have been an excellent organization to deal with. Staff appear cheerful and helpful, and the facilities are in good repair as far as we can tell.

This could possibly be the worst company you could work for! The HR director has no qualifications but kisses ass like a pro! They under staff and put staff in jeopardy daily! If you thought they were in the business of helping people, they aren’t. It’s all about the cash to them. I can’t even tell you how much this company has gone down hill since the new executive director. If you are thinking about working for Supported, don’t! Stay away from this company in all ways and shapes!

During my time working here, I felt valued, supported and encouraged. The staff and supervisors do amazing work for all the clients amidst differing needs. I was fortunate to work for this company.

This is the most horrible company to work for, they treat office staff horribly. The company has no sense of morale and ethics. Wages are super low, you get no appreciation for what you do and the managers here like to gossip and put down staff infront of others. I hated working here each second. The management is disorganized and they don't even let you take a washroom break. They expect you to work 16 hours a day they are heavily understaffed. Do yourself a favour and apply elsewhere
