New Horizon Montessori School

Our daughter has attended New Horizons in Langley since September and it has been the easiest transition for us. The staff are nurturing and caring. We feel very confident that our daughter is well taken care of. They communicate with parents well, do a variety of activities. Our daughter leaves everyday with a big smile on her face! We would highly recommend them to everyone :)

Our daughter started going to New Horizon Langley since she was 2.5yrs old. She has had a great experience. Before attending this daycare she was at a home based daycare but the daycare lady passed away then we sent her to a daycare centre, she had really bad meltdowns everyday after she came home. We transferred her to New Horizon after a few months and saw a big difference right away. She seemed so much happier after she came home and barely had meltdowns. The teachers at New Horizon are absolutely amazing. They are very caring and patient. They also teach some pretty amazing stuff. The environment is very safe and outdoor space is big and quiet. I just wish they did lunch and snacks like most daycares nowadays but this daycare is still the best.

Our son has had an amazing experience at New Horizons. The teachers and owners are kind and gentle. They have done an amazing job helping get him prepared for kindergarten. Highly recommended!

Both our children have attended New Horizon since 12 months old. Right from our first visit we knew our it was the place for our family. The staff are caring and kind; we are greeted each morning warmly with a smile, and they work hard to make us feel right at home.We love that our children spend time, playing, learning and exploring their word at age appropriate levels and get daily outdoor time. The weekly/monthly activities are engaging and thoughtfully planned for each class and target development and growth even at the earliest stages.The location is fantastic and allows for walks in the community, various outdoor play spaces and a community feel.We would strongly recommend New Horizon Montessori to anyone!

New Horizon Montessori School is a wonderful child care facility that provides a structured educational program that benefits and supports each individuals own needs. The children here develop at their own pace in a fun and nurturing environment and you can see how this inspires them to develop their minds. They learn alongside their friends and work together to master essential life skills as well as become advanced learners ready to embark into kindergarten. Kids here play, laugh and learn, boosting confidence and security while being courteous, respectful and kind. Their curriculum is supburd, their team amazing.My child started here prior to her first birthday and I'm so grateful for how each Early Chilcare Educator has supported and cared for her. I feel like I'm losing a big part of my own support system now that she'll be heading into kindergarten and let me tell you it's been hard on me! She'll probably adjust very well to the transition but I will certainly miss her being at this facility and miss the kind, compassionate and highly talented staff.

Highly recommend New Horizon Montessori School at Walnut Grove - a team of professionals, who takes great care of kids. Our son went there for a year before attending kindergarten, he loved it! It immediately felt like a family, all staff are very involved and create strong connection with children. Great activities, outdoor time, and a well thought out development program. I cannot say enough great things about NHM! There’s a special feeling you get the minute you walk through their doors (our son is in the infant toddler program).A few of the highlights for us:- Great outdoor space- Play-based, Montessori approach- Balance of structure & play- Amazing ownership, leadership & staff- Small class size- Strong staff retention- “Homey” feeling spaceWe toured over a dozen other daycares, including all of the major “fancy” centres. The personalized approach the NHM team takes is second-to-none. They’re transparent, great communicators, and excellent with the kids.Our son (now 18 months) *loves* coming to NHM. On mornings when he needs a bit more TLC, they go out of their way to draw his attention to something he loves to help make the transition smooth.We feel great about our choice to join NHM, and that choice is reaffirmed every day!

Trusting your child’s care to someone else isn’t easy and especially for first-time parents. Since our first visit to New horizon we felt there was something special with that place with the way they looked at our son and treated him. Our son is a “pandemic baby” so he wasn’t used to strangers. New horizon team did a spectacular job to accommodate his needs and respected his adaptation speed. Our son loves going to daycare and undoubtedly there is no better feedback than that.

Our boys went to New Horizon Langley for 4 years and I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff and Daycare has been over the years. The staff are responsible, friendly, and positve. Everyone has always shown so much kindness and patience with our children. We have seen the joy the daycare has brought to our children's lives. During the pandemic, many challenges were placed on everyone, it was so amazing to see that the staff were able to provide a safe and enjoyable place for our children to learn and grow during times of uncertainity. We will miss all of the staff at New Horizon!

We would highly recommend New Horizon Montessori to anyone looking to find a safe and nurturing place for their children. Our youngest started in the Infant/Toddler program with our oldest starting in the 3-5 program. Through all levels the staff have been nothing short of amazing, they truly care about the kids. This location has a wonderful outdoor space for the kids with lots of shaded areas and they get to spend multiple times a day outside enjoying the fresh air, including daily walks through the community. My kids have always looked forward to going to school" at New Horizon and had so much to say about how much fun they have daily. They make learning fun and enjoyable for the kids and always know how to keep them engaged through the day
