Great Lakes Pool & Spa

Great Lakes installed a pool for my neighbour. I was asked if it was ok to go on my property and I was ensured that when they are done, they will repair all damage.2 months later and now putting together a small claim lawsuit. If a company wants to go on neighbouring property to do a job, they should ensure all repairs are done properly and timely.

Had a great experiance with this company. They showed up when the said and did an amazing job. The crew were very professional. We were very pleased with the service from start to finish. I recommend them.

Booked a pool close with them and they didn’t show up the day they said they would. Showed up twice over the next two days and never finished the job. Complete lack of communication from them.Update* After posting this review Great Lakes called me. They told me there had been a misunderstanding between employees and they had marked my pool as closed, I gave them the benefit of the doubt (Even though I had called the day prior and left a message telling them my situation and no one had responded) a couple guys showed up the following day and at the time they said they would and got the job done. They were very nice and informative. I can’t give them them a full 5 star review because it’s now been a full week since my pool closing was originally scheduled and there was a lack of communication in the beginning but I would be willing to give them a try again in the future.

The only good thing about this company is their one employee Nathan who always does an amazing job. The rest of the employees including the owners are absolutely useless and unprofessional. Complete crooks.

Great people to deal with. Always have the solution to my pool/spa issues whenever they come up. They Replaced my pool liner last year, bought a gas fired pool heater off them, solar blanket...never been disappointed.

We contacted them back in February, and booked for early April. Everything started out great, they showed up, they were supposed to get our pool swim ready. Well, it is now June, the pool has not once been clear, it is still dirty. Our filter has had multiple screw ups. And they WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE!!! We have tried contacting them several times a day over the last two weeks with no response. Their mailbox says to email them, we’ll don’t waste your time because they won’t answer that either.To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. And to top things off, we paid them a large sum in cash on day one…. Big mistake. I will gladly update my review if they ever become reachable and do as they were hired to do. However, at this point I can not recommend them to anyone. This has made owning a pool a complete night mare.

EXTORTED ME FOR 400$ - if you decide to go with these criminals, make sure you get a receipt if you pay cash, i did not and they sent a past due" invoice threatening to send me to collections

These guys work fast and do a great job! Great Lakes Pools is the only company I will deal with! Beware of their competitors, if you're new to owning a pool the other guys will try and sell you hundreds of dollars worth of chemicals and equipment you most likely don't need.

Great Lakes has been great from start to finish; from ordering to delivery. They not only set up the pool, they explained every aspect of running the pool and what’s required including running the led lights, pump and heater. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to water testing , They also close your pool for you the first year! So in short would definitely recommend Great Lakes for your future pool!!!
