I have not been to Dr Girvitz'office but my OBgyn works in the same building. He was the doctor on call the night I was admitted for induction by my doctor. Having met him for the first time in the birthing room shortly after being admitted, he assessed my situation thoroughly before breaking my water. Clearly my cervix was not ready. He ordered administration of oxytocin at 9pm since i was only 2cm dilated, and at midnight checked again where again i was still 2cm. At 330am i was still 2cm dilated, after which he broke my water using a hook. Unfortunately Dr G was not present when I gave birth 2.5 hours after. The labor and delivery nurse assigned that night was not very helpful in helping me birth the baby. The baby practically came without me having to do any pushing. About 20 minutes after giving birth, Dr G returned to deliver the placenta and at the same time stated that he did not expect me to deliver so soon . He was in surgery attending to another case. The plus side he seemed thorough while stitching the perinieal tear I got from birthing a beautiful healthy baby girl weighing 7lbs 7oz. He followed up with me during postnatal care 24 hours after and stated that he heard that I had a hard time during delivery. I appreciated his empathetic and sincere tone. THANK YOU Dr G.

I just recently saw dr gervitz he listens, he examine me, and is taking the steps to make my situation ok.I would highly recommend him.

He did operation in emergency but did very well

Dr. Girvitz is an amazing doctor. Very patient and kind and will make sure you are comfortable with everything

Girvitz is absolutely the worst gynaecologist you could ever go to. Dont make the sameMistake i did and go to him. He made things very difficult for me when i needed surgery and now i have to deal with medical issues for the rest of my life due to his lack of care.

Learn to reffer a patient to PUBLIC HEALTH not WOMENS HEALTH for an IUD REMOVAL.

Worst doctor ever. I was in labor few years ago at Brampton Civic and I wanted to continue without epidural. He came in to the room and made a sarcastic remark saying lets see how long you can go without epidural". What a jerk thing to say to someone who is in labor pain and trying to stay strong. Completely unsupportive."
