Bubble Waffle Café

I ordered salty chicken nugget with rice. It came with free milk tea. I got my order in about 10 minutes. The chicken nuggets were crispy and flavorful. The rice was cooked well but nothing special. The milk tea was just ok (standard milk tea). Overall, the food was just average & the price was kinda pricey for a simple dish like that.

Absolutely horrific customer service from their manager. My wife ordered their rice rolls and specified she had a peanut allergy. They informed her that there is sesame sauce, which she is okay with. She has had rice rolls with sesame sauce at the Alberta Bubble Waffle Cafes and other establishments that serve the same dish without any issues. As soon as she took a few bites, she noticed immediately that she was having a reaction. Thank goodness we had her epipen and allergy medicine on hand to handle it. I informed the manager of our issue and to see if we could receive compensation or anything as the dish was no longer something we could eat. Instead, she just told me that there was nothing she could do, so I left the dish there to tend to my wife. After several minutes the manager came to find us in the food court and gave the dish back to us and told us it's our personal belonging now and made a scene with her escalating her voice as we informed her that my wife is having a hard time breathing and in front of our 9 month year old daughter. She couldn't even do us the curtosity of throwing it away for us but instead she gave back the dish knowing my wife is allergic too. She kept trying to justify herself that there was no mistake on her end. We had to ask her to leave numerous times until she finally left as it was no longer something we could deal with since we were trying to avoid my wife's symptoms from worsening and having to go to the ER.

Feeling like something soupy? This is a new bubble waffle location inside the brentwood mall food court. Staff is friend and organized. Menu is very extensive.I think the bubble waffles chain does really well for people who want to have a really complete combo (food, drink, snack) at a reasonable price.

Stopped by for a meal at the Brentwood food court before watching a movie at the VIP theatres. We ordered a lamb dry noodle (which came with a drink) and the rice roll dish to share. The dry noodle was standard fare - well portioned and I think they gave us beef instead of lamb but that’s fine. It only came with one brocoli so it would’ve been nice to have more veggies. It came with a drink and we ordered a milk tea - it was super delicious and reminded me of the traditional HK cafes. The rice roll was really good - steaming hot - and came with siu mai and curry fish balls. Good amount of soy sauce, oyster sauce and peanut butter.

This Cafe has a pretty good deal, You can get a man, with a drink, and a bubble waffle, all for under 20 bucks. The bubble waffle is pretty good, not too sweet. The batter is pretty thin though, I think it could be a bit thicker with the batter.

I have tried almost every restaurant in the Brentwood food court and so far the Hainanese chicken from here is the only dish I truly enjoyed and thought was worth my money.The chicken is a good portion and is very tasty. It comes with flavorful rice, dipping sauce, and (unfortunately) two very thinly sliced pieces of cucumber. I would have liked it if we were given more vegetables.The cafe itself doesn't seem to offer any vegetable side dishes which is disappointing.The chicken combo does come with a drink and I had the Iced Hong Kong style milk tea which was good.Overall, I would order from here again.

Hainanese chicken here is the one dish I truly enjoyed.The chicken is a good portion and is very tasty. It comes with rice, dipping sauce, and two very thinly sliced pieces of cucumber (more would be better, though).It does come with a drink, and I had the lemon tea, which was good and refreshing.I would recommend this place for the Hainanese Chicken Combo.

Overall I have no complain about the food and I do come very often to get lunch when I come to the office but I am very frustrated about their drink order. I always request my drink to be less ice however it seems they like to prepare the drink ahead with full ice and neglected my request to have less ice. I was looking for less ice to begin with so I get the sweetness and the tea flavor of the drink but not in the way to have the ice melt after they prepared it. What is the point of allowing such request from customer if you are just preparing the drink the same way regardless.To be honest I like the place and thiNk the quality of food is fair for the price. However please change the way how you prepare the drinks going forward. I will still consider coming to get food but only if I see changes in how they take order for drinks.Appreciate it and hope you listen to our feedback.

I’ve had the Salty Chicken Nuggets twice now and I love it! So simple but satisfying. The chicken is so crunchy and the sauce is sweet and spicy. Great option in the Amazing Brentwood food court.

The portion was big for the noodle soup but the service was bad. The cashier was kinda rude when she was taking my order and they weren’t communicating properly.Edit: the cashiers were friendlier. Always go here & order the noodle soup combo. Their Tom Yum Soup base is delicious.
