The worst insurance, awful customer service. A agent name Lauren Xu practically yell at customer and hang up phone call. If we have no other place to spend you money, choose this company. I don’t know what other insurance company have, but at least they won’t yell at customer.

Amy Zhao is terrible at showing her clients any sort of respect. Almost every time i tried to call to speak to a different adjuster i was not allowed, “this is not their policy”. I had to ask to have my claim escalated to a manager. I had to call another insurance company for information because every time i started to ask uncomfortable questions without talking to Amy I was either hung up on or told I had to deal with her. My husband and I have been with Desjardins Insurance for over 25 years and absolutely no one seemed to care that we were going to go with a different insurance company if our claim was not addressed by our renewal date. The accident happened Feb 16 and our renewal was Jun 18! We are much happier with Joanne at Chatsworth Insurance, much better rates as well.

This is the worst insurance company to deal with. All auto repair guys know it. I got rear ended and my car should have been a write off. They spent 4 months scamming their way through repairs and ended up doing $23k in repairs for a car I paid $20k for. They lied to my mechanic and only paid him $17k.The screwed everyone in the process to save $3k. Wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.

Having a personal agent is great. But unfortunately, I feel the service from head office and the underwriting certus has much need of improvement. It should not take a month or more to get your car back

Steve Galant was worst adjuster I had the displeasure of working with. Took 1 month to send an appraiser to view my vehicle, cost myself time, and Desjardins one month's worth of parking costs. Would sincerely be better off with bots handling these processes. Soon.

This one of the worst insurance companies anyone that i know i wouldn't tell them to go to this insurance company someone run in to my pick car and they take up to one month to answer me about my after when i hear back from them there going to tell me that am the one is going to puy for all the damage and the rental car and the storage fee this insurance company don't help people they tell people what they need to hear then take people had working money i hate this company

Been trying to get ahold of my advisor John Sherwood for a week now. He has been a complete nightmare to work with. Not only did he scam me into putting a claim through, but he also failed to advise me of the deductible on my claim and because of this my car has been sitting at an auto body shop for over two weeks. I’ve called, emailed and left messages on multiple occasions. I’ve requested multiple times for a manger to contact me as well. Still no word from anyone. I am disgusted with this company and their customer service. Clearly did not do enough research. I will not be a Desjardins client after this. Absolutely horrible!!

I am extremely frustrated with the department at desjardin. My husband got his settlement money which we had deposited and used the funds that the bank had released while leaving the rest on hold. Four days later the cheque bounced, I got $50 fee in NSF charges. My account went in the negatives and when I called my bank they told the account is going to have put my account on hold till further investigation. How does a insurance company’s cheque bounce??? They hundreds or dollars from us every month for what? I can’t access any of my funds in my bank account cause of this and I had to take time off at work to go straight to the branch and they told me an investigation needs to be done. Absolutely ridiculous.
