The owner is knowledgeable about veganism and even though there’s a vegan section on the menu, they offer to make anything vegan. This means they’re making all of the food fresh to order, a good sign for everybody!They’re also making great efforts to become gluten friendly. The food is great and very welcoming to anyone with dietary restrictions.

My wife and I recently came up on Once Upon a Thai after a recommendation from the staff over at Everything Wine. We ordered the Cashew Chicken and the Green Curry. Hands down some of the best Thai we have had in the lower mainland and valley. The owner mistakenly thought we were a couple celebrating our anniversary and even tried to make a heart in our Roti curry dipping sauce. Absolutely adorable. We live in New West and would make a trip just to go to this restaurant. AND the prices are phenomenal. Where can you get a dish for 15.99 these days??? We had 2 dishes and an appetizer and had enough for lunch the next day.What a special find for a restaurant. It is so unassuming but you will not be disappointed.

Very delicious authentic taste of Thai food. This is our favourite Thai restaurant, friendly great customer service. I was very impressed and we always come here. Don’t forget to order Thai ice tea as well.

Once Upon A Thai Restaurant and Catering
I had a Google notification from someone recently eating at a local Thai restaurant here. However after ordering I realized this was a different one than this one here.I must say their food was so delicious, first time ordering and will be back again for sure!I have enough for three meals maybe four, all for just under $50. So much healthier than fast food and was ready in 25 minutes!

good food. They wrapped each container in plastic wrap so it wouldn't spill, which was unexpected. Love the Mango Sticky Rice and the chicken wings!

We got the roti with curry, traditional pad Thai, and a Bangkok style pad Thai! We also tried the Thai ice tea. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. Definitely going to come back for lunch :)

Came in to try Thai food for the first time and the food was DELICIOUS. We ordered about 10 different items for just $80 and everything was amazing. Service was very fast, we got our food within a few minutes. The workers were kind and welcoming. The owner even gave my baby a plate with some steamed veggies.Good food! Good prices! Good service!Thank you! You’re absolutely amazing. I’ll be back!

They share a location with Phoenix diner.Diner during day. Thai restaurant after 4:30.2 different companies.Fantastic presentation and flavours. Good value. Very nice staff. They have a very friendly little girl that will chat your ear off. Nice to support the small restaurant. You won’t be disappointed. They also do takeout.Give them a try. You’ll be back.

Wow, what a great decision to drop by after craving Thai food for awhile. Really satisfied! We walked in with warm welcome , politeness and beyond friendly service. Clean and look nice. Foods were amazing! real authentic Thai foods. Big portion, reasonable price. I normally don't like to eat Pad thai but I can't stop eating their pad Thai, very delicious indeed. We had really happy time! My babies liked their fishes. I ordered take out drunken noodle with shrimp for my step-daughter, she absolutely loved it said I have to visit this restaurant
