George Richards Big & Tall

I have purchased clothes at GR for years. Recently I tried to exchange a belt that was defective. Clearly the belt had hardly been used, it was an instore product so no doubt about where I purchased the belt. The guys in the store looked up my last purchase and said they couldn't find my receipt. They said that I would need a receipt. I can't find the receipt, so apparently I'm stuck with a broken belt. Kind of a tough pill to swallow after years of purchasing clothes from this store. Can anyone recommend a reputable big and tall store?

Unfortunately being a big person is punishable by high priced suits and clothing. The tip top side boasts deals and has a wide selection of decently priced suits and clothing. The Big and Tall side, overpriced and extremely expensive. It's unfair how larger people are treated disrespectfuly because of their size,and unfortunately nowhere else to get a readily available suit. Service was ok but again price was absurd.

As an overly rotund man in this day and age I find it difficult to find pants that fit but Neil was extremely helpful and based on feedback from the pants I was trying out he was able to help me find a pair that not only fit but that my wife also approved of.Long story short, the service is what made this a 5 star experience.

Good basic store. Lots of choice with combo store..TipTop & GR. 70% clearance rack at back of store a bonus!

I went on Thursday, the clothing is amazing but the CUSTOMER service is horrible.I went around 515 pm, and there was this balding gentlemen working..I literally said “hey, how u doing” he literally looked at me and walking awayFor 20 minutes, I was trying on coats to try to figure out my size cause no one was helpingAfter finding all the clothing I needed, as I was getting ready to walk to the cashier the same bald gentlemen starts asking if I need any help?? After I spent so much time looking for everything my self??I’m at the cashier now, same guy cashing me outHe literally kept on forgetting to scan all the items I boughtDuring the third attempt of trying to scan everything the total was $680I paid, and then he says HE FORGOT TO SCAN THE SOCKS AND BELT I WANTEDSo he scans the items again.. I paid tax 3 different times that dayI spent over $700, got no help at all and I didn’t even get a reply to my “ how ya doing”If you can’t communicate with customers you shouldn’t be in customer service. Tell buddy to work in a factory if he wants to look dead and be un helpful all day

Good place to shop for some formal clothing specially if you are in the larger side like me! This place can be very expensive so shop smart! Associates there are very helpful and have good taste in clothing, make sure you ask for help from them.

Terrible service they look at you like you shouldn't even be in the store they walk by you they don't even ask you if you need any help what is difference in a store from a few years ago they used to be so friendly and so wanting to help I guess they made too much money

I've been coming to this store for the last twenty-plus years it's always been in the Colossus center but now it's joined up with tipService is always good selection is always ok for the big and tall men could get pricey for the stuff that's a name brands but always look at the clearance racks

The biggest problem with this location is that it's also a TipTop. To those reviewers saying it's expensive... that's how the market is up here, when Casual Male expanded up here with their DXL brand I'm sure we all thought it would be as cheap as the US... Nope, US Brand, Geroge Richards prices. They can gouge us because they can.That being said if you're looking for a good George Richards stick to the GRXL stores. After 10 mins of looking at the selection here and not getting the help I needed, I headed down to the GRXL at Billy Bishop and the second I walked in the door I had a salesman helping me, offering to grab the sizes I wanted and even suggesting new products that I might like. That's the GR I know, all these Tip Top locations always have snooty salesman that act like its a chore finding my fat ass some clothes.
