The best cafe in Toronto, or maybe even all of Ontario. Come here every weekend in the morning for baked goods and drinks and everything is so fresh and tastes amazing, all high quality. Literally anything you try tastes amazing. And I’m super picky. Owner is usually around and is the sweetest person. Also thank you for bringing back the original quiches- they are AMAZING!

FABULOUS Euro style bakery! YOU MUST TRY THIS, especially if you can appreciate beautifully crafted, DELICIOUS and FRESH tarts, cakes, croissants, etc. The staff was also Friendly, helpful and cheerful! Well done!

Wonderful bakery and patisserie. They are well known for their huge chocolate chip cookies which are divine - chewy and chocolate. But don’t forgot to check out their pastries - had the lemon bichon. The pasty was flaky and the lemon filling was perfectly tart.

Everything is absolutely DELICIOUS!! I may be biased because a) I love cookies, and b) I love ones that are soft but also holds firmness on the edges, but these are by far new fav cookie spot!! I loved Craig's cookies but now I feel like they're too sweet (mo shade to Craigs! I still love them and will continue to buy them!) These cookies hit the right spot for me that I didn't know I had.Like any good cookie shop, this is a treat yoself kind of place for me as I can't afford to go every week. 6 cookies and 1 croissant was around 28. Totally worth it and totally a treat!!!

I ordered 2 chocolate souffles, 2 lemon tarts, 2 choco lava cakes, 2 almond strawberry tarts, and a brownie. 9 items of which I paid. Everything was sealed upon receiving it hoping everything was packed. Unfortunately, the brownies that I paid for wasn't in this box of treats that I purchased even the lava cakes are somewhat replaced by the two souffle cakes. My rating would have been a four or a 5 just because of this packing issue and missing items on my take out. I was so looking forward for a brownie treat actually... And it was the one that wasn't in this box. So so sad right now....

Stopped to pick up a drink to find these nice selection of baked items with nice display. Staff very polite and knowledgeable with all products. Nice bravery

What a lovely treat to have this bakery so close! Hands down, they are the best cookie in town, but they have so many wonderful pastries, all made fresh everyday! The croissants are so crispy and the pistachio swirl is my favourite! The staff is always friendly and get to know you (and your order)! It's a great little bakery! And the owner Teo is such a lovely man! Definitely recommend.

Chocolate bomb was delicious!And other baked items on display looked very fresh and amazingly tasty!However , Coffee (cortado) I ordered could have been better. Not to say the barista didn't do a great job in its preparation and presentation. The effort was definitely was there, but there are just several blocks on the Lake Shore with much better options for a better tasting espresso drink.Though still rating it a 5 on the taste of the Chocolate bomb alone, and other baked items on display. Staff were also very welcoming and friendly.Looking forward to going back to try something else!

Good coffee, friendly staff, amazing pastries....They just need better outside seating. Tables and chairs are too close to the garbage bin. Other than that, definitely every day spot to visit.

Well, what do I say about new “Le Gourmand” location?I have to say, as the brand new customer, was not overjoyed with poor customer service. In this industry it is detrimental to stand out with exceptional product and customer service to reflect the cost (ofcourse if you wish for the client to return).It was disappointing to see this bakery open at 9am when their competition (down the street) opens at 8am. I stayed and waited ONLY to try new place and I had time, otherwise I would definitely go someplace where earlier service was available. (I really do not wish to go into detail of how this should have been handled).Sometimes, we have to go over and above our line of duty to sustain the business especially at the time when you have to make a mark.When I finally was ALLOWED to come inI ordered my butter croissants and few “World Famous Chocolate and walnut cookies”. Packaging for cookies was great, however I cannot say the same for the croissants. Croissants are light and flaky therefore should not be piled on top of each other rather layered in a box.Products are slightly overpriced, but that is usually normal when you start a new business. I am always more than happy to pay more for great product...Croissants were well laminated, but over-proofed. It was also slightly under cooked. Taste was great though.Cookies were very tasty, had nice chewiness to them. I have noticed they are NOT consistent in size and amount of chocolate and walnuts for such big price ticket.In conclusion, I truly hope this bakery survives in this neighbourhood.If you have decided to charge bit more then bakeries that are exceptionally good then you need to up your game.Great product without good customer service is sometimes JUST NOT ENOUGH.I have given you 3 stars as I am planning to return couple more times and see if you will stay consistent to current service or will there be improvement.Will stars rise or fall?
