Gilbert’s Mountain Movers moved me from Calgary to Chilliwack and I am pleased with the professionalism of their staff. There were a couple of challenges with scheduling but I was flexible and my pickup and delivery went well. The cost of my move was reasonable and I think very good value for the job. I highly recommend Gilbert’s Mountain Movers.

Excellent moving company, and local family owned business. Very professional from start to finish and very accommodating. Everything was moved within the timeline they had estimated and price was actually well under initial quote. Mark, Mike and Cody were punctual, careful and considerate throughout the move. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Frankly, I have had experiences with other moving companies which were terrible. However, this group were professional in every way. Arrived on time and ready to work. Set my expectations. Clear communication all along the way. Handled everything with care and were highly respectful. Would gladly use their services again. HIGHLY recommended.

We had never used movers before, but this company came highly recommended to us. Their service was prompt and fast from the initial quite request and the crew who moved us were great. They work SO hard and are incredibly efficient. Great value for our money. I hope we don’t move for 40 years but if we do, we’ll be using Gilbert’s Mountain Movers again.

From the estimating phase through the move from our home to storage was exceptional. Communication with office staff is great. The movers were professional, and efficient. Looking forward to them helping us move into our new home. We will be asking for the same guys to help with the move from storage into our new home. I actually can not offer any recommendations for how to improve anything as it has been great.

We had a fairly large move on May 29, 2023. Although it was a rather long day, the crew kept a happy disposition and was very reassuring. Emanuel, was amazing - hard working and a joy to work with. An important question is would I use the company again? Yes, though I hope not because I don't want to move again!. This was a business move this time. I have used them twice before for residential moves. The guys were very courteous and really looked after the items they were moving. What was supposed to be a two day move, turned into one day and the guys worked hard to finish everything in one day. The estimator was very thorough and said if the time came out less, the quote would be adjusted, which it was. All in all a very pleasant and competent move. The company and its employees obviously have a great culture towards service and customer satisfaction.

Everything since the first phone call I made, the booking, payment, everything was really easy and smooth. Extremely kind and professional, all my items were really taken care of and they also were extremely careful with the walls on both places.Louis even knew the building I was moving into and knew better than me how the elevator worked, so that was great! Louis was a very nice guy, he asked how I was feeling about my day and this big change.They took apart my bed and assembled it at the new place, and they placed all my furniture carefully exactly in the places I wanted them (I had measured beforehand and used the floors plans to organize everything; they really liked that because made their lives much easier).I haven't finished unpacking the boxes yet, but seems like everything made it in one piece.Worth every penny and I'd totally hire them again. Thank you sooo much!

I moved from Calgary to Cochrane and used Gilbert Mountain Movers to get me there. After having numerous poor experiences with movers until this point, I didn’t have high hopes however, they proved me wrong. Max, Joey and Kenny showed up right on time and right from the get go, they were positive, upbeat and confident. The move went smoothly, efficiently and they took great care of all my things. Nothing was damaged and I was so impressed with all three of them. Thank you guys so much for taking a lot of the stress of moving off my shoulders!!! 10/10 recommend.

I used Gilbert's Mountain Movers for a recent local move and I couldn't be happier with them. I found them while looking for recommendations on Reddit.I first spoke with Darryl, who was friendly and clearly explained how they would handle my move. The biggest appeal for me was the final cost being based off weight and time.My moving team were Charlie, Isiah and Jordan. They laid down floor protectors, took good care of our furniture and worked quickly. We did see a shoe print on our sofa and the support for one of the seats is worse than it was before, but it was already broken and probably not in good shape to move anyway.Overall, everything went very smoothly and the final cost came below what was quoted. I would certainly use them again and recommend to others.
