Great service, great products. The Sales Team were polite and knowledgeable. We had our awning installed last summer and it has made our outdoor space much more usable and enjoyable. Absolutely wonderful! The installation team were punctual, friendly and quick. We also purchased our outdoor furniture with MacDonald and we simply love it.

From beginning to end we were impressed with MacDonald Awning. The sales person was great and answered all of our questions throughout the process and the colour selection and options were great. Our 100 year old home gave the installers a few issues during installation, but they were professional and provided options, and the result was great. Recently, MacDonald Awning was very helpful in assisting me to trouble shoot a malfunction of the remote control, necessary to open my awning purchased from MacDonald's a year ago. After changing the battery to no avail, I contacted the company. I spoke with Bill Stoody, one of the partners, and he suggested I check the breaker switch (the red button) on my outside outlets. Sure enough it worked.Normally most company’s would have dispatched a repair person who would have charged a fee for their service and expert advice. Bill graciously declined any remuneration.I would highly recommend MacDonald Awning & Shade Protects. Enzo Carli

We had a fully automatic screen enclosure added to our garage, office setup. It is a wonderful addition for working and socializing in the garage, keeps the mosquitoes and other bugs out as well as privacy from the inside you can see out but from outside you can not see inside. The sales staff and installation crew were very knowledgeable to help us make our purchase. We have had many compliments about our setup and would recommend this arrangement to anyone wanting to use the outdoor area of your house to enjoy our lovely Canadian summers.Thankyou MacDonald Awning for a wonderful job.

We recently had our awning from Amy awnings come loose from our house. After 2 weeks of waiting for Amy Awning's to come out and fix the issue we gave up and reached out to MacDonald Awnings. They were fast and professional and a week later the issue was resolved. They're a great company to work with and I'd recommend them to anyone.

This has been a terrible experience. While the awning is great when there is no wind AT ALL, as soon as there is even a gentle breeze it is unusable. The installers told us it was UNSAFE to use without hold-down poles (which we were told by the salesperson we would not need). The company has been condescending in the extreme in all correspondence since. I now have an $8000 product that I cannot use. While these awnings may work well in some locations, DO NOT get a large awning, and DO NOT trust the sales team.
