Food was good, staff friendly. Food came pretty quick and was pretty decent. I take away stars because they had run out of fried rice and the men's washroom was absolutely disgusting. For ok Food I would probably go else where in Richmond.

I came here expecting a poor service experience based on the reviews I’ve seen/heard but that did not happen!The ladies were all nice to us and our dishes were served quickly. Overall we’re pleased with the service.We couldn’t read Chinese, so it was quite the challenge to mark the order sheet but we managed and our server was helpful and made sure we got what we wanted.The food was SO GOOD. The pan fried XLBs were the star of the table - soooo juicy.Everything we ordered was delicious. I haven’t had much Shanghainese food besides Dinesty and I must say I MUCH prefer this place for it’s price, service and PORTIONS!I am so excited to have discovered this place and will definitely return to try more of the menu.

I'm going to preface this with the fact that you don't come here for good service. The food here is delicious and authentic, but if you're looking for quality service you probably want to go elsewhere. More on that later.My party got the Tan Tan Noodles, steamed pork buns(Xiao Long Bao), pan fried pork buns, and Kung Pao chicken, and stir fried garlic pea shoots. The soup/sauce for the Tan Tan Noodles was thick and peanut-y, the steamed pork buns and pan fried pork buns were both filled with soup, Kung Pao chicken had the wok hei" that I was looking for

I am originally from Shanghai and I would say this is 70%-90% authentic to real Shanghai food. Among all the Shanghai restaurants in the area, this is the best. Every dish is worth trying, cannot decide what to recommend. The place is super clean, they even have hand sanitizer at the front and staffs are all wearing mask.

Yummy Shanghai food. The beef in the beef noodles melted in my mouth. The pork xiao long baos were super soupy. The chicken was spicy. Definitely would pair it with rice next time I come. The panfried buns were super juicy as well. I took a bite out of one and juices went flying. It was hot so don’t burn yourself. Overall service was fine. The food will make you want to come back!

This is one of my personal fave Shanghai style restaurants in Richmond. It still does get very busy, lines still occur, so they’re still doing some things right.Probably the tastiest XLBs in Richmond, and best bang for your buck. Prices have gone up a bit, but still reasonable. You’re not paying for ambiance or tier one service here, you’re paying for good food.Overall, the food here is still top notch after all these years. Service and table wait list could use improvement, the interior could probably use a refresher as well, but again that’s not what you came here for.

I loved this place, we ordered many dishes and I think they were reasonably priced. Service is good, and free parking. Very delicious.
