Somebody pinch me. I just had my first appointment here and was genuinely surprised. After several years of chronic pain and being told surgery wasn’t a viable option, I was starting to accept that I would just have to live with increasing pain for the rest of my life.However. After my appointment here today, I actually have a bit of hope again. I didn’t realize there were so many different new options available, and also this was the first time anyone explained to me how the different pain receptors work, and which treatments target which pain receptors. And Dr. Weiss also explained the emerging research about neuroplasticity and how pain actually functions like a cycle (I might have the terminology wrong but that’s the basic idea). And he was great about explaining and differentiating between proven vs unproven treatments, invasive vs non-invasive, and making sure I was equipped with all the info to make decisions.And he drew diagrams to explain all of this visually and slowed down to make sure I understood everything.Someone give this guy a medal. I wish all doctors could be like this. And the staff are great too.

I have been struggling with debilitating back pain for the last 3.5 years. In that time I’ve seen multiple specialists & tried many treatments. Dr. Dov Weiss truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and present me with all my possible options. He was incredibly transparent about efficacy rates and risks, taking a great deal of time to answer every single one of my questions. Any possible costs for non OHIP covered treatments were clearly explained, and at no point was I ever pressured to prioritize or even consider those.For the first time in years I felt empowered to control my treatment plan. Together, we have decided to take a multimodal approach to help me get quick and lasting relief. I was offered immediate treatments from my first visit, not having to wait months/years as I have within the Toronto hospital system.The biggest gift of all, was the renewed sense of hope I left his office with, after only one visit. The level of unwavering passion and care Dr. Weiss displayed in conjunction with his many years of experience is a rare combination to find in a doctor. It is clear he continues to stay up to date with all the latest research.The clinic itself is very clean, modern, and tranquil. The other team members I met were equally as welcoming and professional. I feel privileged to have found Painless Medicine & Therapeutics, and truly look forward to all my future visits there. I strongly recommend anyone suffering with poorly managed pain to request a consult.

I have visited the clinic several times for different treatments and have been impressed on all of my visits. Dr Weiss is patient and thorough, and also friendly and caring. He seems very committed to improving people's quality of life with various treatments, willing to try different things and I've never felt rushed. The clinic atmosphere is peaceful and thoughtful. The young lady at reception (I believe her name is Lisa) is a pleasure to deal with and keeps everything running smoothly. I feel very fortunate that I have access to a great facility like this and a fantastic team.

I am a new patient to the clinic as my previous pain specialist referred before retiring. I thought it would just be a continuation of my treatment plan but was surprised and impressed to find out Dr. Weiss and his staff offer more treatments. I have just completed my first appointments for 2 new treatments and I am already feeling less pain.As others have said, the office is very nice and the staff is caring and knowledgeable. They are all very kind and I only feel rushed if I don't allow enough time when booking Wheeltrans...never by any of the staff. I have a pinched nerve that was debilitating. I came to the clinic and within 3 weeks, with the thoughtful care of the Dr. Seib, we were able to reduce the pain so it is manageable. It is life saving for me, as I felt really down about the pain. She listened and cared about my feelings and I felt like it was a space that I could share my ups and downs. The entire staff is friendly, and professional, its in a nice space, and location. Truly I have had my life turned back around so I can live normally now. Thank you so much to everyone there!

I have never met a team who really care about your mental and physical/emotional pain and have been very blessed to have been in the care of these amazing angels on earth. I am so happy I didn’t give up on looking as I have had terrible and horrific times with some so called specialists. This team and treatments are life changing and they treat me like a real human being. Wish more clinics were like this as they can learn a thing or 2 from Dr Weiss and Dr. Seib and the few wonderful nurses I have had. Thank you!

The biggest takeaway from my first appointment at this clinic was that I truly felt heard.I met with Dr. Dov Weiss and he was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I generally mesh best with doctors who not only get my sense of humor, but kinda play off of it as well. This doctor went so far as to infuse humor into the conversation before I had a chance and once we were both comfortable, I felt we had the same sense of humor.Don't get me wrong, when talking about more serious matters, I didn't feel at all as though he laughed it off nor did he interject a joke where it was in bad taste.My overall experience was quite pleasant and I feel that the level of respect, again- kindness, and overall atmosphere of the clinic itself will really help to keep me calm when I return for the treatment plan we have decided to start me on.There was a patient kind of excitement around beginning a new avenue to betterment, between my partner, the doctor, and I that I find difficult to describe, but I left feeling positive not only about this first visit, but the future relationship with both him and the staff going forward.The office itself is quite clean, has muted yet beautiful art on the walls and it overall matches the calm I was told was needed when dealing with some of the treatments available.If I happen to ever be in a place to do so, I will absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone I can!

I am undergoing a few different treatments at the clinic. The staff is kind and compassionate and Dr Weiss took the time to explain everything and made sure all my questions were answered. My treatments so far have already made such a difference in my life, both for pain and anxiety/depression/ptsd.
