Jerk Pork was spectacular. Cole slaw was fresh and perfect balance with the spice - soup to start so good I could have had 3 bowls and called it dinner - Fritters hot and tasty, authentic all of it! Will recommend to all the people!

My family and I were pleased to host our private event at Scotthill Caribbean Cuisine this Spring. Thank you to Keith, and the wonderful staff who were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant was very clean, intimate, and inviting. The decor was simple but elegant. Good vibes as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the food served as it was very fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish, oxtail, and curry goat were beautifully plated and very delicious. The crispy fried chicken and french fries from the Kid's menu were a hit with our younger guests who greatly enjoyed their fill. The signature punch was savoured by all - a flavourful blend of fruits with just the right amount of sweetness.Thank you for making our special occasion, spectacular! We look forward to dining with you again. God bless!

I have a lot of high hopes for this place.I just want to start off by saying this place is great in terms of atmosphere, vibes and spirit. You can tell that it’s a real authentic Jamaican restaurant from the moment you walk in.The front waitress was so polite and helpful and even though she was busy multitasking 100 different things she was very patient and friendly to everyone that came in.The way my tummy was rumbling from the smell of the food, I was so excited to try it. Seeing the plates of the other diners confirmed I was in the right spot. The portion sizes were huge and very reasonable pricing.Everything on the menu sounded so delicious and it was very hard to pick what to order, but I decided to play it cool and just get the bbq fried chicken. (strike one on my part). I should’ve just stuck with the gut.The bbq sauce was like a really liquidized ketchup. It was so runny and bright red, that it soaked through the fried coating on the chicken. I wanted to like it so bad, but it was just not what I was used to. My friend got the skewers and the dumplings were so tuff and hard to choose. I’m honestly thinking that this was just a one off and I can’t wait to come back and try their dine in food instead of take out.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been an extremely loyal customer for about 5-6 years now. My mom and I love this place. I’ve had the redfish, curry goat, and boneless jerk chicken and rotate between them whenever I go. Whenever we go in person, we get a cup of vegetable soup to begin and it’s one of the heartiest, most flavourful soups I’ve ever had. When there’s been a period of time we haven’t gone, my mom and I will reminisce over this soup. It’s that good. The plates are perfectly portioned and every side adds to it. The coleslaw especially we’re always obsessed with. We went most recently and both my mom and I got the boneless jerk chicken. Wow. Awesome, juicy, nicely sliced chicken, not too spicy. Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had.My one preference would be that I like a little more of a thick cut plantain. I enjoy plantains in any capacity but find them tastier when they’re a bit thicker and still have a nice sweet chew to them. That’s just my preference though.Certainly check out this place if you haven’t already and support their business. In the past, the owners came out to check up on us and make sure we’re enjoying our meals and he’s a really kind man.

Place was clean and spacious compared to most West Indian restaurants. I’m not a fan of eating Jamaican food on the road but here, I have to acknowledge them.. fish was cook well flavoursome and fry dumplings tasted like what my grandma use to make from scratch not heavy like the pre packaged ones.. Food was amazing will definitely go back

This is NOT the first time I've been to this restaurant! This was my 2nd visit for a similar gathering of professionals from acrosstheGTA. My NEW experience started when the lady sitting beside me ordered a glass of wine! When the glass of wine was brought to her, it was comparably different than the lady having a similar glass of wine across from her. A BIG difference! When the owner actually finally came over to have a chat with the customer, the indifference he showed for not making things right about the quantity was VERY disappointing. The dinner I ordered, which was oxtail and rice, it was supposed to come with soup; that never came.My meal was easily to put together, but the quantity and taste of oxtail left me with feeling empty... being that it was one of a few signature dishes the restaurant does daily!

Tried to support this restaurant on Mother's Day, went with my family for an evening reservation. Waited for over an hr, was not given any water or was served anything to drink while waiting. It was 6 of us and a baby the waitress let us sit at a tiny table for 4 until our table was ready so 2 ppl had to stand. Our family eventually left after waiting for so long especially since the waitress never returned to offer us water or a drink menu. A family we met complained about not getting any water and was told it's because they ran out of glasses. We ended up at the restaurant across the street, although we didn't have a reservation for that restaurant we were greeted with pleasant waitress who gave us water while we wait for an open table, had the best time there and the food was amazing, will definitely recommend that place and the salmon dinner, I think the name of the restaurant was Cheers.

One of if not the best Caribbean restaurant in the city. The chef actually makes his good with love. A lil on the proxy side but worth every penny!! Vegetarian and vegan dishes as well. Small restaurant but beautiful food and welcoming atmosphere. I live a little far but I'd keep going back whenever I can.
