Gas Depot and Car Wash

Car Wash is stuck in the 80s. Only coin operated. Tried to get coins from my credit or debit card from the guy in the store and he said I had to buy five dollars in merchandise to get cash back. I asked why the hundred dollars in fuel I just bought wasn't enough to be able to get cash back. Also the twenty bucks I would have spent in his car wash should be enough profits for the day. For those who say it's the best place in Winfield... I'll assume that's because it's the only car wash in town.

Was looking for a new car wash close to Winfield. Found 'Gas Depot and Car Wash' on Google Maps but wasted time going there by neglecting to read reviews. Pulled up to coin operated wand wash where noticed it appeared to take either 2 loonies or 1 twonie. Went into gas station convenience store for some change and was told I needed to make a purchase from their collection of overpriced junk food and drinks. If car wash malfunctioned expect response would be 'not my problem'. Ended up washing car at Skogie's on corner of Hollywood & Hwy 33. Was given change with a smile at the Esso convenience store plus bought a Timmys across the lot for the drive back to Lake Country.

Gas Depot is hands down the best place to gas up and wash your car. The car wash is clean, has good quality soap, and has lots of pressure. It's an awesome one-stop shop.

I went in today to wash my car. Was pleasantly surprised that their premium car wash is only $5.50 on Wednesdays with any store purchase. I left pretty disgusted after the lousiest car wash ever. Seriously, don't bother.

Clean environment with great quality product (ie. soap solutions) that don't leave streaks or marks on my car. Very professional staff that's likeable. Water pressure removes dirt easily. Overall very satisfying experience. Highly recommended!

I know people might say “you need to wash it better” but in this case, I will not be back ever again. I spent 7$ on a wash that didn’t clean my car!!!! I foam brushed it 2 times and it didn’t get the bugs off!! Barely any pressure to get bugs off too. And the time u get when u put 2 dollars in. That is ridiculous. Last time I was here, I was as fast as possible and I couldn’t even rinse the soap off of my vehicle with 2 dollars!! Wow that’s fun needing to leave a car wash with half your vehicle covered in soap. I said screw it, I will give it one more chance. Bad mistake. Costumers please think before you go to a car wash that won’t clean your vehicle . Won’t be back even if I can’t see with dirt on my windows.

Clean, well run, and has the convenience to pay by either credit card tap or coins (loonies and Toonies). Great three bays to choose from to manually wash your car, and one touch-less car wash as well. Very impressed with my experience there yesterday. Thanks!

It has a couple of self service car wash bays and a automatic car wash. Only one in Lake Country.

Initially I did not have soap but went inside and got the owners number who picked up straight away and helped me remotely. I give five stars because he turned the experience around and was very helpful and pleasant :) I hope some of the issues get fixed (like regular soap check) so everybody has a great experience every time.

I rarely use the gas depot for gas. I use the hand wash to get the winter grime off. I will use the soap for half the wash and rinse the other half. Last 2 months little to no soap. Spoke to the owner who was there on one visit and he told me that because my bay was farthest from the mechanical room there's less pressure. I told him there should be suds coming out of the wand. The soap looks like the wax that come out on the wax cycle. He tested it and it was the same. He asked if I wanted to rewash and I told him whats the point. Never offered to give me my money back!!! It's good just to get the winter dirt off or construction vehicle.
