My oh my! So much to choose from!!! Yum!My husband found this gem and we ended taking delicious baked good for the day, the next day, and some home for later!There was way too much to choose from, but, we forced ourselves... LOL!They even have a wrack od day old" near the door

This is a GEM! Have loved this bakery for years. The Foot donut is a family favorite. But basically you cannot make the wrong choice. Over the holidays the mince meat pies are delicious. Pick up a fruit pie for dessert. Their breads, scones and Ranger Cookies are staples to enjoy. One special item is the Rasberry Ganache Cake with Buttercream. I have ordered this for multiple special occasions and always happy with it.

This Review is about the Pastie and Samosa I purchased last week. I was shocked to learn that this family bakery do not make the Pasties or Samosas they sell. Unfortunately, I have to report that both items were disappointing. The Pastie was lean on contents - but plenty of pastry. The deep-fried Samosa was too oily, and the curry flavour contents were quite pasty.

If you like good old fashioned bakeries with all the selection to choose from I would detour to take a look. I first heard of them accidently by visiting a client on a Friday and they had a huge box of doughnuts for the staff. Bread, bakery items like doughnuts, cinnamon buns, lemon squares, maple long johns and pastries. Also in the cooler near the back they have a few choices of sandwiches at reasonable prices if you want to purchase to take to the picnic tables by the water and have a picnic. Ham and cheese on a cheese bun($5.95 at my last look) and turkey with cranberry sauce are two favorites. All very fresh. There was a line up out the door on the Saturday I last visited but I believe it is worth the wait.

Everything we purchase here always tastes awesome. Anytime we are in Sydney we come here. The pies are always full of flavor with the crust always flaky. The cream rich and fresh which makes buying the cream filled croissants a must. On every visit there is different sweet treat to tantalize the senses. Ate some before pictures taken.

I bought an apple pie, blueberry muffin, a cinnamon bun, and a pretzel. The apple pie had too much pastry and not enough apples. The blueberry muffin had one blueberry on the muffin and nothing else inside. The cinnamon bun had too much glaze on top so super sweet, and the pretzel was way too salty and tasted like eggs! I had heard a lot about this place so I was quite disappointed.

We saw a couple nearby de bakery eating some beautiful donuts and we couldn’t stop ourselves from trying… Amazing!!!! With a short line almost all the time but it moves fast and the ladies inside are nice and fast. Can’t wait to go back!

We are visiting from Vancouver and love this bakery! So many treats to choose from. We liked their strawberry rhubarb pie, Chinese chewies, peanut butter cookies and the 12 grain bread.

I heard people mentioned about Sidney so many times but I was like “hmm, how can their donuts be that special”. I didn’t care until I actually visited the bakery and got some pastries myself. I had to say I never had any better donut. Their donuts were soft and fresh and just soooo good. Other desserts are yummy too. There was a long line up outside. It was quite rush inside the store and the staff wasn’t so friendly. But because what they sell here are just so good so I’ll be back when I have a chance
