I came here on a Sunday afternoon with three other friends, the service was really good, I loved my bourbon cesear but I think the conked chicken was a tad dry. The price was very fair for the quantity you get, and the ribs and poutine were good.

Great experience tonight with a fun atmosphere and friendly service. Had the Palomino Platter, which definitely was too much food for us three but so delicious!! The brisket was a little dry but overall their meats were excellent, and the fixings added a lot to the balance of the dish.Highly recommend adding the deep fried pickle bites, too!

The staff were lovely and friendly, the food was nice and the happy hour gives a very nice price on beers and cocktails! You can also sit outside and have a view of the Calgary tower. Highly recommended.

Great service! The Alberta Beef Brisket was 7/10, taste was good but the texture was on the chewier side. The Pitboss Burger was 8/10. Definitely order the bacon wrapped corn cobs as your fixins

Two thumbs up from this Texan! Alberta BBQ is LEGIT! I had the opportunity to dine here during Otafest 2023 and it was a great dining experience. I sat at the bar and sampled some of the regional craft brews on offer and placed my order for a 2 meat plate with sides of garlic fries & pit beans. The link sausage had the most incredible flavor! I was deeply impressed. The Alberta Brisket was very tender and tasty as well. I'm from Houston, Texas and have sampled a good number of BBQ places in and around my hometown but Palomino Smokehouse beats them all, I think. Do not miss the chance to enjoy their BBQ if you ever find yourself in Downtown Calgary!

The atmosphere was very nice. It was classic. The food was delicious and the staffs were friendly. It is very pretty inside if you are looking for a place to have a great dinner their chicken was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place.

Brilliant. Lively bar/restaurant. Had an excellent meal. We only had one night in Calgary and Palamino was recommended in our guidebook and by a local. Glad we found it.
