Anson Orthopaedic & Sports Physiotherapy Clinic

My husband and I have been patients at Anson Physiotherapy for a number of years. We have seen multiple different Physio's (Lori, Jod and Mhairi) and have been thoroughly impressed. Beyond their friendly comforting nature, they are all extremely knowledgeable. With various injuries and chronic pain, my husband and I have been thoroughly impressed with the treatment, and focus on strengthening for our overall functioning. In fact, we have been so impressed with Anson Physiotherapy that we have referred our immediate and extended family to the clinic.Lori was especially wonderful with my Grandmother, who was suffering from chronic knee pain and memory loss. Each week that we visited Lori, she would reintroduce herself to my Grandma to maintain her dignity, and would then proceed to laugh with her and help with her knee pain. It was always a wonderful experience!

The staff here have been treating out 12 year old daughter for the past 4 months. We have seen a great improvement for her injuries. She likes the Physios she has seen and they have been very good about explaining each procedure that they will be doing, how it will help her, if there is an alternative and providing homework" to keep her rehabilitation coming along."

Karma has been my physiotherapist for just over 6 months and I can only say fabulous things about his care. He also makes himself available and I’ve never had a problem getting in to see him when I need him. He truly is the best physiotherapist I’ve ever had. I appreciate his work with lasers and IMS. Excellent experience! The staff at Anson physio has far exceeded my expectations. The information and guidance in moving forward with my injury from Nadine and Jodh go beyond their duties and is much appreciated. It would seem that most of the medical professionals that I have dealt with are more preoccupied/concerned with money over a patients well being/progress. At Anson you get a sense that they take great pride in utilizing all of their resources to improve your condition and put your well being at the top of the list. I would highly recommend this clinic and wouldn't hesitate to use their services in the future.

Family-friendly physiotherapy clinic run by sweet, genuine people! Linda is fantastic to work with and all of the therapists are really focused on making patients feel better through whatever method is necessary. The atmosphere is positive and secure, with private rooms for patients rather than just curtains. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an alternative approach to pain relief through safe and natural methods!

I think I have finally found my physiotherapist! I visited the clinic with acute lower back pain that also caused some nerve pain shooting down my legs. Karma identified the issue right away and suggested IMS and laser therapy on top of some manual therapy and stretching exercises. He will take time to listen to your concern and try his best to find the right treatment plan for your lifestyle and preferences! After only three sessions (IMS and laser) my back pain is almost gone and range of motion to my back is 100% back! I highly highly recommend Karma!! :)

I am an RN of 35 years with chronic pain issues from herniated discs and I have been seeing Lori for 13 years now . The professionalism and empathy that Lori and the entire team at Anson have shown is second to none! Lori has an extraordinary ability to listen not only to what you are verbally saying but also to what your body is saying ... she has an innate ability to pinpoint trouble areas and then proceeds to offer pain relief with her massive barrage of skills . She has been instrumental in helping me to continue doing the job that I love so much . I followed John from Vancouver, to Burnaby, to Anson. He is the most thorough and engaging physiotherapist I have ever had. I have never felt like just a client or part of his quota. Seeing John, I feel like my health is valued and my issues are respected and treated. We have worked through my a traumatic knee surgery and John has introduced me to many perspectives and has helped me become a healthier human being. John will give you the tools to help yourself but engages you along the way. I would recommend him to anyone who has any pain or sports related issues.

I have been attending Anson Physio since the fall of 2009 after a knee replacement and later for a back injury. My physiotherapist is Lori Dalin and she is very knowledgeable and can pin point the problem quickly and knows just what the treatment plan should be. She shares her findings with me and helps me understand my injury.... hurt verses harm. I have had laser, shockwave therapy and Dry Needling over the last 11 years for various injuries. Currently I am having Dry needling and it amazes me how she knows just where the pain is coming from and she gets results. The staff is always welcoming and they take pride in their place of work. The office is clean and each room has a theme which helps you to relax. Definitely a 5 star rating.

Amazing customer service and caring staff. My therapist, Jodh, goes above and beyond my expectations. I am never feeling rushed and he actually takes his time to go over your treatment unlike other therapists I have experienced. It's a cozy place with a very friendly environment and plenty of free parking available outside. I never had an issue not finding a parking spot which is a huge bonus.
