Looking for vintage nintendo and super nintendo. Not a ton of selection in that display but other areas were quite good. Neat collection of vintage records for prices I thought seemed reasonable. Owner smiled and asked if he could help me once I approached the counter where he was sitting. When my husband was in earlier he did not offer any help and sat at the front by himself. I did not experience anything rude like many reviews say. Customer service was average. I think it's worth going. Also to note my CD's work and were affordable to buy.

Awful customer service, very rude owner that does not do refunds for discs that do not work. Doesn't even make an effort to help the costumer.Out of 3 guys that work there, only 1 guy is actually nice, but he's rarely there on weekends. If you ever encounter an issue with their products they will always blame it on you/your console/your DVD player.I will never come back to that place, the costumer service ruined the experience for me and its not worth it.The only good thing about it is that they have a fairly big selection of games/movies but beware before you buy, you might not get a refund if you're having issues.

The reviews for this place have been pretty accurate. Immediately as you enter there is just an uneasy feeling over the place. Prepare to be treated as a ghost when you enter the store. Anyway I went in to find a certain game and they had it but it was more expensive then a new copy on Amazon. I asked if he would do $5 less but only to a resounding NO! That's fine, it's his product he can sell it for what he wants, but he at least should have waited for me to say the same game is $20 new with shipping included online. The prices are atrocious and the service is terrible. 1/5Go to Games Music instead right down the street for a better experience.Edit: In response to the owner; I have not exaggerated my case at all. The store was empty when I went in. As I said, the shipping was included in the price I listed. You do not diligently try to maintain low prices to save people their hard earned dollars" by firmly ignoring what customers could tell you about prices elsewhere. Perhaps instead of dismissing all these reviews as a personal attack you should actually listen to customer feedback and improve your godawful store. And trust me

Great selection. The employees seem like they hate their life. Sometimes helpful.Usually seems like you are bothering them when asking questions. Maybe its just the way they are? Still 100x better then the game store down the street....Im still unclear as to how my review is derogatory slander.......The owner could do himself a favour by not answering every review defensively.Edit: 3 months later the owner has deleted his reply to me calling my review derogatory slander... i have been back into the store and spent money since originally writing this review. Cheers game shop! Best in RD

This shop does not warrant any stars. The man working here is blatantly rude, and clearly gets some sort of joy from making people feel less than human. Not only did he talk down to me, but he did so in front of other customers. I bought a product from him and when I got it home it didn’t work. It’s safe to say he did not care. It’s a shame people like this are able to own businesses at all.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about. It’s like these people want to be treated like princes. The prices are great. Much much much cheaper than the store two stores down, and yes they offer returns, but that’s because there prices are higher. If you buy a five dollar blu-ray when there are signs up saying no refunds and then it doesn’t work tough luck. There prices and selection are really good and I like this place. So far I haven’t had a problem with any discs so that’s good to. My one complaint (and this really does get on my nerves) is all the stickers he puts on his games and blu rays. And then they have been stuck to the case for so long that they are impossible to get off and then when you do there is just this sticky spot left on the case it just bugs me.

EDIT: Owner either fabricates scenarios/customer interactions to justify bad reviews, or makes his best guess at which customer is reviewing him and fails. The first guy I spoke to was pretty nice. The guy standing near the cash register up front (can safely assume the owner, based on these reviews) is a dismissive douchbag incapable of making eye contact. While I'm sure he's a very hardcore and serious console gamer, he's not a particularly good business owner, nor a particularly cool guy.

Horrible place.Tried to trade in some games there, the guy looked at it for less than 2 minutes then told me what would be his offer, cash and credit. I tried to ask how he came to this number he just started walking away and not looking at me, telling me he's seen more games in his life than i'd ever see in mine and wouldn't give me an answer. When I pointed out that some of my games were in his cases for almost the entire value of what he offered me he just told me I was being rude.I took my things and walked down the street and got way better service and they showed me the prices for each of the 25 games I brought in and how they do credit and cash and what everything was worth. I was quite happy with their service by comparison.I was so upset by my experience I looked online to see what others had said and lo-and-behold they've gotten some five star reviews about their great service and supply. Then I recognized the photo and the guy was the jerk I dealt with at the store. Is it so bad they need to give their own store five stars to make it seem like it's a good game store? Apparently yes. They do have a good supply of games and movies, but their customer service is abysmal, the store reeks of cat urine (yes I may be a bit upset, but it truly does) and their prices are insane!Do yourself a favour and do not visit this store, they will rip you off without a thought and they don't care who you are or what you have, to them it's all about money. I'm amazed they are in business. Makes you wonder how that could be...

I went to both used game places looking for some old Xbox games, and in my experience this place had much more fair prices. Some of the games I bought were more than twice as much further down the street (some of the old CoD and Halo games on OG xbox were 6.95 here which was selling mostly in the 12 to 20$ range otherwise) I go to both and compare prices and usually I buy here. It has a great selection of games and a better selection of CDs. The owner treated me fine, I dont know were all these horror stories are coming from, because he seems like a nice enough guy. The place was really clean and well organized. He has tabs sticking out that say what letter, and what franchise or artist is where, which saves a lot of time when looking. He also has a pretty good quality sound system playing throughout the store, which I can dig. Both places have treated me great. A lot of these other reviewers seem to have a chip on their shoulder for whatever reason, I dont feel that they do the place justice. Its a good store.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The owner is rude and has no clue how to treat his customers. I can see why he needed to put in hurricane shutters on his windows. No one likes him. I've done business with him twice and both times he was ignorant. The first time I asked if he was having a boxing day sale and he said Do I look like a box store?" The next visit he demanded I turn off my cell because his pace maker will fail. Yup. I purposely made a call only to piss him off while he was completing my sale. All the while he had his cell phone in his pocket. He'll never get my money again. NEW: I didn't say I was in your store today. The last time I was in your store it was in November. I don't need or want to come into your store. Have you actually read the reviews on your business? Look at what customers have said about YOU! Your attitude is the same in your responses as you are in person. I saw your response suggesting a customer needed mental health help. Unreal. You had no right to say what you said. That was highly uncalled for especially from someone like yourself."
