Westcoast Roofing did work for us a number of years ago and just recently and we had a very good experience both times.Cost was in line with others but they made all the difference in their:- Great communications (eg keeping us in the loop on what they found, when they will be coming etc)- Honour of all commitments- Creative solution to a perplexing issue- Great team (full team were polite, respectful and hardworking). Each member took ownership for the whole project, which is a testament to their leadership.We have complete confidence in their workmanship.

In Jan 2020 during a typical heavy Vancouver rainstorm I called them out to inspect my roof after discovering water was dripping down my chimney into the living room. I met Jeff and he checked over the roof and around the chimney, showed me lots of photos of where some of the flashings were worn or damaged, and some mortar for my brick chimney needed care. They did a great job repairing the leak. Then after another heavy rainstorm in Nov we saw that the leak reoccurred in our chimney. After contacting them they dispatched someone to reassess and found that a counterflashing has come apart. They quickly fixed the problem.I was impressed that they always gave me a courtesy call to let me know when they will be on site, and they stuck to their times. This is important since my wife is working from home during the pandemic so she can expect someone coming up the back porch stairs and not be alarmed.Their service personnel are polite and easy to talk to. Overall it was a good experience, which is important when you are faced with such a troubling issue like a leaking roof. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Westcoast Roofing are second-to-none when it comes to professionalism, transparency, and workmanship. We recently purchased a Heritage home and Blaine helped us navigate a difficult decision between replacing our old cedar shingles or changing to asphalt. The work the team did was INCREDIBLE and we constantly get folks stopping in front of our house commenting on the end result. As it's a very old house, so as expected there were a few touchy situation that were outside of their control, but they talked me through each issue with pros/cons and a recommendation before proceeding. It's also worth mentioning that we received many quotes and Westcoast Roofing was very competitive, so I feel like they provide incredible value when you take into account the additional peace of mind they bring to the table. HIGHLY highly recommend.

We had a very positive experience with West Coast Roofing; very professional. They were organized, transparent, kindly and clearly explained the different options. They worked through a number of design challenges that arose as a result of problems typical of a very old house like a new venting system. They accomplished this work quickly, at a competitive price, and the end result was work of the highest quality. We’re very proud of the result, and are grateful for the peace of mind it has given us. Now the challenge will be to make the rest of the house look as good as the roof! West coast roofing systems were the opposite - super professional and very clear about work and charges. They invoiced with photos of the work done. Pleasure to work with. A roof is a huge investment both in cost but also the long term protection of our home so it was nice to be put at ease by these guys.
