Great eco-friendly interpretive centre siting in the river valley natural area. Well-kept facilities including water fountain and public washrooms. Outside, Dirt/stone Trails as well as paved paths made our holiday morning walk to the riverside very enjoyable. Thank you Lethbridge!

This place is awesome. Just be aware of snakes. My wife almost stepped on one. There are lots of animals and deers. I almost made a deer friend once. We also saw 3 deers running across the path as if chased by someone. We thought it may be a cougar. But couldn't see any. Nevertheless, this place just by the river so close to the city is a nature lover's dream.

Such a beautiful place in the heart of our city. Biked all through the coulees on Sunday with my 13 year old. Stopped in at Helen Schuler to use the bathroom and refill our water bottles but had to take a quick look through the exhibits and at gallery. I’ve been bringing my boy since he was a toddler. We miss peg leg!

The coulee center is very informative and they frequently change up displays, art, and more. The nature events they hold are always a blast to bring the kids too, and the staff are amazing. The walking paths around the area are serene and unique.

Of-course, seasons change, so every visit is unique. The trails are well maintained with interesting stops. Fun way to teach kids about camouflage in nature.

Magnificently varied, and contains dozens of trail and walking combinations. The ever-changing elements are awe inspiring, and specifically if you catch a view of the large family of deer in the area.I was surprised to hike through the bad lands, along a rocky beach, and on sand ledges, all in one journey!

Great place to bring kids or just to go check out. Learn about the local flora and fauna, find out what events are happening within our city, take a pamphlet and bird watch, or check out local art and science projects! They have information on various relevant topics to the city, nature, conservation and more. Based on donation so don't worry if you don't have lots of funds and still want something to do. Go for a walk and look at the train bridge, see a porcupine, rattlesnakes, tons of birds, and more. In the summer they have goats doing the lawn work, and the site is well maintained. There is even an old mining shaft and tons of places to explore by trail!
