Melissa reached out to us after the birth of our baby and I'm so glad she did. She made us feel comfortable and made the whole process smooth and fun! She made me feel beautiful and confident, which is something that I feel like women often lose during pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood. Our photo shoot was full of laughter and good chatting. Melissa came into the shoot and had shown us various poses and photos she wanted to style our shoot around which was great to have a visual of what she would like from us. Her direction during the shoot was great and we really enjoyed everything. Melissa is very professional and easy going. She is very fast to respond to emails and we got our photos back very quickly! We’ve seen Mel three times now for a variety of sessions - engagement / maternity, christmas mini, newborn / family, and let me just say that she kills it, always!!! Mel is so incredibly talented and creative but more importantly, she oozes with passion and kindness. I believe that’s why her sessions always feel so comfortable and natural. No awkwardness here! Melissa was absolutely amazing to work with! She did both our engagement photos and our wedding day photos and we could not be happier at how they turned out. She has such a good eye for capturing the most special moments and is so good at making things feel natural and not posed. Both photo sessions included lots of laughs and good tunes. My nervousness kicked in the day or our Wedding and Melissa was there all calm and composed helping to keep things together and keep me sane. Our wedding day was not just a day for her to show up and take pictures, she truly went above and beyond and stood with us every single step of the way. Mel was so great to work with. We are more than happy with our maternity and newborn photos! We don’t feel there was anything that she missed and she captured us so beautifully. In our previous photography experiences we’ve found we’ve really loved 5-10 images. With Mel’s photos, we have a difficult time deciding which ones to put on our wall. I’d highly highly recommend Mel for any photography session and I wish now we had known her prior to getting engaged & married. Her patience and creativity shines through with every session. Mel never makes you feel rushed and her style is amazing. It’s the most comfortable we’ve ever felt with a photographer, and now she feels more like a friend :)

Mel graciously did our newborn session for our Son and she nailed it! Her studio is something from a magazine. She is not only a baby whisperer but we felt we were in the company of a life long friend in her presence. Mel is beyond talented, we were speechless when we viewed our photos. Highly recommend!

5 stars hands down. Melissa is so great to work with. She is so down to earth and easy going, she makes taking photos so fun and not awkward at all. Melissa did our wedding and blew us away with our photos, we are so in love. She gave us sneak peaks right away to tide us over until our full gallery which we got back so fast considering the number of photos taken. She also did our engagement photos. Twice lol. We kinda got stranded on an island the first time and it didn't quite go as planned on our end but she was so great coming back another day and delivered the most stunning photos. I cannot say enough good things about Mel, she is amazing as what she does. We will definitely continue using Melissa for our professional photos.
