Cambo Beach Restaurant
I ordered Pad Thai. It looked delicious when it was placed in front of me, but once I tried to put my chops sticks into the dish, I was unable to break the noodles apart as it was really dry. The color was a pale red which indicated there was not a lot of sauce on the noodles. I told the server about how dry it was and she said she would get me more sauce. The sauce certainly elevated this dish substantially - but I noticed when I paid, they charged me for the sauce? I didn't say anything, but I felt my dish only actually became Pad Thai once it had a saucy consistency and felt they should not charge for the sauce. If I wanted just noodles - I would have ordered that.

Recommend:The pad Thai - some of the other reviews say it tasted meh, but I actually thought it was the best tasting thing we got.The sesame chicken - we got it as an appy, very good!!Good cocktails!!Was ok:Vermicelli bowl, barely any chicken, sauce was ok. Good on a hot dayGreen curry, it was missing some of the zip I like from Thai restaurantsOverall, good place to escape the heat. Quick and friendly service, would return!

This picture is $5 worth of salt (10 packs)! We are here on holiday and bought take out two nights ago (which wasn’t good and the smallest portions ever) and added a 20% tip even though we didn’t eat at the restaurant. We asked them for a few packets of salt since they are at the same motel we are staying at. Instead of them being decent humans and giving us a few packets, they charged us. You can buy a box of 3000 online for $25 bucks fyi! Thanks for the lovely customer service as we will never be eating here EVER again.

I can't believe some of these poor reviews. No one I know has ever had a bad meal here. Wonton soup is delicious. As is the sesame chicken, the vermicelli bowl and the pad thai. I also enjoy the shrimp and avocado appetizer.

Excellent service from hostess to servers. Pad Thai sauce is generic - tasted the same as the restaurant we visited down the street. Prawns very overcooked. Tofu teriyaki dish very bland and dry until extra teriyaki sauce arrived but the vegetables were cooked perfectly - crispy not mushy. Not a repeat for either of these 2 dishes.

Thai quality food was less than fair. I had a red curry that came with steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Not a pinch of salt or any other flavor. C'mon. It's a restaurant, i.e. some creativity is a must for the price. My wife's rice was overcooked and mushy. Service is ok but something was a miss. Overpriced for a food quality, but understandable: prime location cost money to run.

Cambo Beach Restaurant
The waitress was very friendly, kind and helpful! The food was very good and the plating was surprisingly well done seeing as the exterior of the building isn't the prettiest. Was originally drawing in by the beer advertised on their umbrellas and was glad to see they served it! We arrived around five minutes before closing but we managed to get squeezed in and served! Excellent!
