One of the worst repair company we have dealt with and are usually extremely understanding with what challenges can come with operating a business. Wonder how they can still stay in operation. After LG appliance canada made a booking appointment on our behalf and a 3 weeks waiting period, we called the day of the scheduled visit and were confirmed by the clerk at McCann to expect a repair technician by late morning. Once we had not receive the visit by early afternoon, we called back and the same clerk whom answered the call mentioned that we were actually not booked and she had to confess to us that she had not bother to look at her booking sheets although we did ask her to confirm earlier in the day. Another week went by for a technician conduct the repair visit and confirmed that the compressor of our our 2.5 year old fridge was faulty and had to be replaced. The compressor is still under warranty but we had to disburse the basic rate for a service call (approx 225 dollars) Another 2 weeks goes by to order the part and to rebook a visit and only to be let down once again the morning of where the technician called sick and now back of the line once again which McCann are telling us the ealiest appointment available is now mid-january 2021. 6 weeks without a fridge and potentially looking at 2 months 1/2 turnaround time for repair is above and beyond what i would consider this an inconvenience , and even after all this there is no guarantee that someone will not call sick again or even bother not to show up once again. I am disappointed that this site does not allow me to rate this company as a big 0". I strongly suggest that anyone who need an appliance to be fixed is to stay away from this repair shop in order to save yourself some time and frustration. Once again I am dumbfounded that this business still operate."

Boshe countertop stove top stopped working. Warranty for the unit went to McCann.They finally came after 5pm.Parts ordered.No response from them.Called parts were approved for service. Called again and parts sitting there, but another 2 weeks for install.Now it has been since the beginning of September and now it's the 3rd week in November.Now is this a company that you want for a repair?Heard all the right reasons, approval, parts, booking, all came with a vague response from the appliance repair section.I'll check and get right back to you "Call came from the warranty company

Had McCann Mechanical (Brockville) repair our home furnace. We have had nothing but problems with this company.At first, the service technician quoted the replacement part to be a couple hundred dollars. It ended up being $600.Next, we booked them for the install, and I stayed home from work. They did not show up. Two days later they called saying they'd be there that day.The repair ran smoothly. Technician was pleasant. But three HOURS after he left our house, the billing person/department called harassing us to pay the bill. I calmly explained that we would be paying our bill promptly (and before next week) and just had some online banking to do. The person on the phone was very rude and started saying things like we need to pay our people". As per usual business practice

Had this pathetic appliance service provider (MacCann Mechanical), that we were referred to by our warranty provider to repair a display panel on our KitchenAid gas range.The MacCann service tech arrived on site, wasn’t sure , wasn’t knowledgeable as how to calibrate the new display panel once installed, with the help of my wife she instructed him how to calibrate the panel as per the owners manual. The service tech when removing the console to access the display panel dropped the stainless steel console scratching/denting it, MacCann assured us this panel would be replaced at no cost to us, 16 months passsed with multiple calls to MacCann Mechanical and we were always told it was on back order.Went to the there location to get an understanding why it was taking so long to have this part purchased/installed knowing that the part was available by two Canadian suppliers and could have it within the week.I informed them of this but it fell on deaf ears.A hour later my wife received a call from McCann Mechanical indicating that our range that is 3 years old and that MaCann decided that our stove was to old(the one that they damaged) to fix so they elected to close the file and they weren’t going to replace the $500 part.DON’T USE THIS MECHANICAL SERVICE PROVIDER!!!!!

This company deserves negative stars. Their service is ridiculous, their technicians are unprofessional, incompetent, and the owner is a thief. We had an issue with our gas stove, which was under a warranty we purchased at the time of sale. Had we known McCann Mechanical was the company outsourced by the warranty provider, we never would have purchased it. It began with a simple error code on the circuit panel. The technician showed up with the digital circuit panel only; based on our research, the unit comes with two parts: the circuit panel and the front console. The tech finally figured out how to remove the console to access the circuit panel. In doing such, he dropped the console which ended up being scratched and dented. He took photos and assured us one would be ordered since he damaged it. 16 months later still nothing...They should have the console in their possession since it comes as one unit to begin with. The delay was constantly blamed on COVID supply problems. We checked various Canadian supply companies online and the unit is available for next day delivery. We advised them of this but we were told that they only deal with specific companies. We decided to go in person to address the issue. We were not allowed in the building, we had to discuss the problem outside on the front step when it was determined that it was still back ordered. One hour later, we receive a phone call telling us they are closing our case because of the age of the stove. So, in essence, we have just been advised, after all this time of following up with them monthly, that they are not replacing the unit, THAT THEIR TECH DAMAGED, because the stove is too old...it is barely 4 years old and this claim had been submitted 16 months ago....This company should be closed down or at least investigated.

After contacting the company about an issue with my appliance they were here in a reasonable amount of time. The person called to confirm I would be home as I was told they would. The gentleman was polite and informative. He was thorough in his walk through of the issue. He told me my options and cost of repairs and gave me his recommendation. I appreciated his patience with all of my questions and he even took the time to listen when my very curious son asked about how things were going. I will definitely call them again should I need them!

Ever since we had them come and try to fix our laundry centre under warranty, the front panel of the washer COMES OFF almost every time I do laundry when I never had an issue before. Didn’t fix my machine, broke it instead.

McCann Mechanical Inc. tried to repair my stove and dishwasher. They came on 04 January 2021. After two months, I phoned them to get an update only to be told that the parts were on order and if it took a long time it was because the receptionists had to answer to many phone calls from customers. They came on 26 May 2021, 5 months later. The technician attempted to remove the electronics from the stove glass top by prying with a putty knife between the glass and heating elements. I pointed out to him that he needed to remove 3 more screws from the bottom that were still between the elements. When he finally got everything back together, the front and back gaskets were not fitting properly. He told me he would look at it once all other items were fixed. The wrong front moulding was ordered and he couldn’t fix that and since lubricant didn't fix the drawer stiffness in opening it he couldn't fix that either. The same thing happened for my dishwasher. He was not successful in removing the front panel and needed to come back once he ordered a new door. Despite repeatedly telling me so, McCann never came back to finish the repairs and kept lying about it on the phone telling me the parts were ordered and the paperwork submitted. As it turns out, this was a complete lie. I kept calling them until Feb 2022 (9 months after their initial visit) and then took my case to each respective appliance manufacturers who updated my case to their manager's level. Bosh sent another company and they repaired the dishwasher within 20 mins. McCann didn’t know there were screws inside the handle at the top. In all it took 15 months to get my appliances fixed by competent companies and not McCann. In dealing with McCann Mechanical I experienced the worst of what the Home Appliance Repair sector has to offer. McCann Mechanical Inc. are liars, rude, unprofessional, and certainly not qualified to work on home appliances. They give a bad reputation to all Home Appliance Repair Businesses. This business really deserves 0 stars or less.

Would not recommend. After giving clear instructions on what we needed, (we had already installed the bathroom exhaust fan, we were just needing the vent piping we purchased to be attached to the exhaust fan in the attic, and vented out of the soffit) they scheduled the wrong technician.
