The gentleman working in the men's cologne section is the best Sephora employee I have ever engaged with. I believe that his name was Shan -- his hair was coloured and he had sparkles. He had encyclopedic knowledge of the inventory and was very patient.

Disgusting !! BRENT the so-called manager, refused to accommodate me when I was 15 minutes late for some services that I had booked earlier in the week. I had explained that we were late due to the traffic having been so bad. This man is not fit to cater to the General Public and should definitely not be in the Sephora store. We have spent thousands of dollars purchasing their cosmetics only to be treated in an awful manner. It should be mentioned that at the time of this writing 1:00 p.m. the technician still did not have another client to fill the chair where I would have beenWhen asked who the general manager was and where he could be reached, Brent refused to give me this information preferring to Hope I would not take this any further.

What i witnessed was a horror lesson that should be taught to those wanting a career in customer service.A customer was late for their appointment by what the manager claimed was 20 minutes. The customer explained he had come from Newmarket and got caught in traffic. Not such a terrible thing to happen and it was evident the service girl didn't have any other customers waiting. The manager identified himself as Brent.This individual handled the situation poorly . So much so, I was going to go to the aid of the customer. However, the customer seemed to have a plan , so I stayed out of itBRENT is an employee who should work at McDonalds and get trained in customer relations as he and the technician dropped the ball on this one !Sephora should select their employees more carefully before their thriving business starts to dwindle.

As a frequent shopper of Sephora, I often call and pick up the products in store. Most times staff are helpful polite and provide amazing service over the phone. However the person I spoke with today was very rude. Initially, I did not quite get what he was saying due to his accent. So I tried to repeat my question a few times and then he started talking over me and would not let me finish a sentence! My friend could hear him over the phone and whispered to me, “why is he yelling?” After a few minutes of unsuccessful communication, I asked if I may speak with another staff, and he got louder and kept asking “why do you want to speak to someone else? And what is your name?” Luckily, I was able to get my questions answered by another staff member (who was very helpful) after complying with my name and some other info.The interaction with this person was such an unpleasant experience, and contradicts the excellent customer service that I remember this store for. In my experiences, most Sephora employees are either passionate about beauty products (like me) and/or passionate about helping people. Unfortunately this person did not seem to care about neither… His authoritarian attitudes are the last thing that I would expect from customer services.

Was in on Sunday the 4th of June and an amazing young man Tristan helped us he was absolutely amazing and the funny thing is he was one of the brow technicians and not on the floor but he helped and got us to buy a few things he was patient and quick to answer questions and so helpful . But unfortunately the young lady at cash wasn’t so friendly and that’s too bad because we had such a great experience and then left annoyed

After having a 5/5 experience with the makeup service at the Union location I was incredibly disappointed with my experience at the Bloor location.My appointment was scheduled for 9:15am and I arrived at 9am to check in. The manager of the store rudely greeted me telling me the store was closed and that nobody was there to do my makeup after I showed her my appointment confirmation.She came back a second time re confirming that no artist was there, and I explained that I had an event I had to leave for by 10:30am. She came back a third time saying she did not realize makeup services opened 1 hour prior to the store opening and that someone would be with me.I showed the artist (Mansha) my photo of myself for inspiration and she executed the exact opposite as to what the photo showed. I looked like a character from the Addams Family and was incredibly sad. She also took longer than the allotted time so I was late for my event, and she had me apply my own mascara which I found very odd.My event was my engagement party and I wanted to feel beautiful so I booked this service, but it was a disaster beginning to end.I really really wish I could be writing a great review, and Mansha seems like a nice person, but this was truly one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I certainly will not be going back to this location, but will stick with the artist and experience at Union.

So for the new recent comments regarding the brow services I was actually the client after you and this guy literally came 20 min after his appointment, I love this location and the managers I shop here all the time and the service is amazing here. I think that people have to be punctual in order for things to run smoothly but honestly the way the mangers handled the matter was with the most professional and empathetic tone.

Close to my place and it’s my favourite shop for discovering new products.The staff is 95% always friendly ( I give a leeway of 5% as some days are not always sunshine) Personally I’ve never had a problem with the service or attentiveness of service.They always have a Host at the entrance greeting and asking if we need help.Since past 5 years this is my To-go place for creams lotions and cosmetics.Good promotions and I always wait for the sales to pick up my stock for a few months.Got my creams and lotions at 20% off which is a great saving.My all time favourite perfume Dolce&Gabana Light Blue in a gift set is good value.Last evening I rushed at 8:59pm ( they close at 9) and I was still greeted with a huge smile and was told to rush in as I made in time.That’s such amazing service as they make one feel so welcomed.I picked my stuff and left a happy customer.Would only love if they gave some samples like shoppers and Hudson Bay gives.
