This was the finest BnB I have ever stayed in. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully restored and very well furnished.The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite bath roomy.The house is grand and very well positioned in beautiful Annapolis Royal with nice grounds to explore and relax.Joseph was so welcoming and funny. We enjoyed his stories of experiences as an inn keeper.We highly recommend and we definitely visit here again.

What a fantastic period Victorian guest house / hotel / bed and breakfast. Beautifully appointed inside, its like going back in time. Each room has character, also see the pics for the central areas. Just gorgeous. The location couldn't be better, one block from the main street. Easy free parking too. Our room (room 5) had a heat pump AC, but not all rooms do. Joseph the host was excellent. I was hoping for a better breakfast with some protein options and toast, but thats my only negative. The breakfast coffee was great and there was lots of it. Can't wait to return to this incredible property in the heart of Annapolis Royal.

Joseph was nothing short of the perfect host, and the building is incredible. Everything felt warm, accommodating, and friendly. I would certainly come back and stay here again. We visited in April and the town was just starting to come to life, though I'm sure it would be hectic during the summer months. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.

I willingly overlook some minor imperfections to give this the highest rating. Joesph provided a fine hot breakfast and is very well informed about the local history.But the house itself is arch amazing. The interior details will amaze you.

Had a wonderful stay, would definitely book again! Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, slept great and loved having our own on suite bathroom. The house is absolutely beautiful! Mark and Jodi were warm and friendly hosts, super helpful with recommendations for food and places in the area to visit. Breakfast was delicious as well! I visited with my mom, aunt and cousin and we had a lovely evening visit in the parlour by the fire. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

I spent the weekend with 6 close friends. Everything was wonderful. We loved the town. We loved the inn. Jodi even sent us a box of belongings we accidentally left behind. Way beyond the call of duty! The inn is a beautiful period piece without being stuffy or over done. Highly recommended!

I stayed three night in early June, 2023.Mark and Jodi had just taken over the hotel. The building is a beautiful old red brick building and is a wonderful sight amongst the predominantly wood structures in the village.The room I had was spacious, clean and well kept. It was the nicest hotel room I have stayed in.The hosts were very generous of their time and understanding of my needs.I would definitely stay there again and i highly recommend it as a place to stay in Annapolis Royal.

What an incredible B & B! The building was amazing, with spectacular period furniture throughout the inn. A bonus, in my mind, each room had a modern ensuite. Joseph was a perfect inn keeper! Catered our every request, he also made wonderful breakfasts. I have been boasting to all my friends that they need to visit Annapolis Royal and stay at Bread & Roses!

What a gorgeous Victorian house and location in stunning Annapolis Royal. Joseph is a charming host who keeps the house and gardens immaculate. King size canopied bed with lace drapes, very romantic! Would definitely recommend and hope to return. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious muffins.
