Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

I called twice in advance to know if they are doing ink fingerprints and over the phone they say yes, no problem, once I get there in the front desk they told me they are not doing ink fingerprints, they should sync their information so we don't go in person and lose our time.

Unprofessional officers, always get bothered with the most petty things. 2nd to delta cops for sure!! They go to calls that are ridiculous when there is shootings happening at Walmart at the end of the day. They also should be properly trained on dealing with citizens, being professional, and interacting with people properly.

I feel safe when I walk in this place. I would imagine criminals, degenerates and ingrates would feel like the police are rude to them. For good reason. Because they prey on citizens. The guy below me who rated it a 1 star? He was probably caught jerkin it at a Mcdonald's.

Many highly unprofessional encounters with inexperienced young male staff which is especially horrible when dealing with mental health related issues! also seen overall disrespect by members of the organization as a whole towards Surrey.

I was being followed, threatened and harassed by an abuser. RCMP Victim Services gave me tools and strategies to protect myself. I wished I would have called them sooner.

My phone made sos call while it was broken. nothing was working including the reboot button and the screen was frozen. I didn't even knew about it until battery go out and I turn it on again. I quickly called non emergency number which is these guys, and they were super nice and calm, and helped me with no problems. We don’t hire police officer for just because of their good looks. They were suppose to protect the citizens not helping crimes to exist on earth.

I believe the RCMP in Surrey should conduct a self-reflection to their attitide, especially the Crime Report Centre. The staffs' attitude ruin the image of the whole department so bad. I think those staffs there should be retrained and updating their knowledge especially in Elderly Abuse. Senior population in BC is raising and the crime related to senior abuse becomes more and more.I have called three times to Surrey RCMP about my sister abusing mother in last 4 years. Everytime the answer replied from the staff were not their scope of practice and it was a family matter. So the staff asked me to find a family lawyer to deal with it.I felt reallt frustrated because my sister sold mother's property without consent and used the money to buy her own apartment. And I discovered my sister had possession of all mother's identification documents.These two matters may have the possibility to offence crime.I also contacted RCMP in Vancouver. The staff told me it was a crime to report but it happened in Surrey so asked me to contact Surrey RCMP again.I have no idea how those officers trained before they entered into their working place.And I started to understand the reason why people always have a really bad impression to Surrey RCMP. It is a legally gangster organization.

Joe and Nena provided prompt and courteous service. Everything was done within 15 minutes. It was a nice surprise regarding the service as quality of services in Canada is not so good.

When I phoned on the same day that I came here, I was told that arriving here with my paperwork 30 minutes before the detachment closed would be perfectly fine. I literally drove across the whole city only to be told that there are too many people in line in front of me, so I would have to come back another time... There were literally 2 people in front of me. The fact that a police detachment would demonstrate such incompetence is really quite shocking.
