Base Camp Coffee
Visited this cute cafe when we were visiting Powel River! It had a cute atmosphere and friendly people. Their London Fog was delicious!!

Used to be one of my favourites. I don’t know what happened, but the quality went waaaaay downhill. Really too bad! Coffee and food have actively been bad the last several visits.Had to come back and lower a star to say it’s never a good look when the business tries to excuse terrible product and service instead of trying to make it right. At least a dozen of us just in one circle have noted nothing has been good, over multiple visits, in quite some time.We kept trying because we want to support local, but if your customers are telling you it’s not cutting it (particularly when it used to be great) maybe the answer is to actually work on improving instead of dodging accountability.

Went by the Marine location a few days ago. I never ever write reviews but felt compelled to do so. I had a muffin better than any I have had at any coffee shop!!! Homemade fresh and delicious. I am telling everyone I know to stop by and try their amazing baked goods!!!It was a berry peach muffin. Can't wait to try what they have next time!! Thanks Base Camp! Great effort and delicious selections.

We stopped for a couple of Lattes, a Ranchero and a Wake and Bacon breakfast/brunch snack. The ladies behind the counter were super friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee were excellent! They even threw in a couple free cookies due to a small delay with one of the food orders.Also loved the original artwork on the walls.Thoroughly recommend Base Camp Coffee.

Popped in here after returning from Lund and waiting in the ferry to head back to Comox. Great shop that totally had their look and feel dialed and love their branding. I was able to enjoy a snack made fresh and a great coffee with solid free wifi working on my laptop in a funky and cool atmosphere. If I’m in town waiting on the ferry again I will walk over here again for sure

We enjoyed delicious paninis - the one with mushroom was was so tasty - sides of soups and took home a pack of thirty ginger cookies. Portions were filling . Great spot for a brunch, lunch or treats if ever in Powell River.

Terrible customer service with staff members who can't communicate nor do they respect customers. My friends ordered before I was even given the chance to order for myself, when the server rudely asked me to step back" so she could serve someone else before me. I was fine with that

I'm having an emotional moment about my breakfast; it was that good. The coffee is excellent for sure and the food is outstanding. Perfect in every way.

Heard their breakfast sandwiches were really good but they were all pre-assembled, so when they were heated up the center was very cold. Bread was excellent, small selection

Had a fantastic experience at this place! The staff was very kind and friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming and felt very 'west coast', and the food was top-notch. Can't wait to come back!
