Funny thing, I happened to be in the office when jessica was dealing with the girl behind the desk. Jessica kept going on and on about how much better everything was in New York. The office girl responded politely and helpfully, but finally snapped! There was no yelling, she just quietly told jessica that maybe she should go back to New York where everything was so much cheaper and better run. I didn't blame her, I would have lost my patience a lot sooner...

very disappointing.the ride was not only 2 minutes.My doughter was very excited to ride pony, so we went all the way from New West. Not wotlrth it.

Disorganized and rude, never going back! I booked and paid for my daughter's pony riding lesson a month in advance and then called the evening before to confirm the time. We show up for the lesson 15 minutes early and were told that they moved out lesson to 5 hrs later, would I mind coming back then. Um, no! We arranged our day around a 12:30 lesson, plus try telling a 5 year old that her long anticipated birthday present of a pony ride won't happen. So we wait for a half hour (the length of the lesson) while they scramble to find someone to give my daughter a lesson and to their credit they did. The lesson itself was fine.After the lesson, I went to the office to book another lesson and inquire about a pony ride for my younger child. They do offer pony rides for very young children - at a rate that was double what I paid in New York City. I expressed surprised in a completely non-confrontational way that it's more expensive in Vancouver than NYC. Everyone knows how expensive NYC is, right? The woman I was booking with agreed and said that rates are higher in Canada. Fine, lets do a ride for the 2 kids anyway, I said. Then out of the blue, a woman I wasn't dealing with aggressively told me to go back to New York! Excuse me??! I put the brakes on booking another 2 more rides and replied that her comment was uncalled for. At which point she exploded and started shouting about mortgages in Vancouver vs NYC, cost of hay, etc. I immediately took my 5 year old by the hand and lead us away from the aggressive hostility. Guess what my daughter remembers about her pony ride lesson in Vancouver? - an aggressive, rude lady yelling at us and telling us to go back to New York. Good job Pony Meadows, you ruined a pony ride lesson for a 5 year old girl.
