I was passing through & decided to stop at the dock for a walk. It was quite cold & windy, but the sun was out so I got some great snaps. There is no parking here, so I parked at the Memorial Park & walked over to the dock. It's not much of a walk...about 10 minutes. Beautiful scenery if you're passing through. For those fishing, there is a sign posted that you cannot swim in the lake due to bacteria. So I reckon you shouldn't be fishing either. There are two restrooms on-site, but they were closed. I imagine they open during the summer hours.

My 10-year old son and I visited Harwood public dock to fish last weekend and had a great time. I prefer this spot over the Bewdley dock because it is treed so there is some shade. It was quite busy so we met lots of fisher people who were quite happy to make friends and give advice for us beginners. There is a nice covered gazebo with a picnic bench to have lunch. The sunset was pretty amazing, too. It's a bit weedy and there are lots of the invasive gobi. Make sure you don't put those back in the lake if you catch them.

A very nice place for a sunset view . So many people are fishing here and catching a lot of fish.
