Portuguese Swamp Trail
Very cool hiking trail but also apparently highly controversial area for the neighbourhood. I stopped by simply because I drove by and the area is so unique with the swamp frozen over and all of the fallen trees. Seems as there is lots of history to this Environmentally sensitive area. However, its quite nice hiking trail and very scenic area with great opportunity for awesome photos. This area is completely buried within residential area so you will not know its even here.

Good place to walk.but dont wear black t shirts.Mosquitoes will bit you.

Portuguese Swamp Trail
Interesting walk around a swamp. Lot's of dead trees, however, Lot's of wildlife and plants. Trails not marked. Some trails towards swamp are hazardous with steep hills, roots and fallen logs.

nice quiet trail, fun to take the kids in the morning, watch the mosquitoes at dusk, and watch for people on the curves if you're bombing the hill on a bike.
