My new fave taco joint for sure. Worth the drive to Smith's Cove (Digby area) in itself. I got pork, fish, and chicken tacos. Soooo good! Lots of the right toppings to balance spice and flavour. Dessert (churros) was also amazing btw...save room.

Excellent food. Lots of flavour with a wide selection of sauces. Reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. The views over the basin are spectacular. Their TacOcaT Lager is brewed locally and tastes better than Corona. Come for the tacos. Stay for the beer, views, and atmosphere.

I drove 2 hours to visit this place! The service was impeccable and the food was so delicious. This restaurant has warm and cosy atmosphere! I will be returning and bringing friends! Thanks TacOcaT!

We never miss visiting TacOcat when we are near Digby. The food is amazing. The people are wonderful. There is absolutely nothing they could do to make our meal better. Perfect, as usual.

Beautiful spot right on Bear River. Had the fish, chicken and pork tacos along with their very own Tacocat beer, it was all amazing! Fish tacos were out of this world good. Great assortment of hot sauces from mild to crazy hot. Super fast and friendly service!

Best restaurant around Digby and Bear River area. I live in Digby, and everytime we thought of dining out, we think of here. The menu is simple but the flavour is delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy during the winter, light and vibrant during the summer, so we can come here all year round.

I have been a customer of TacOcat since they first opened in Bear River. I love their new location in Smith's Cove. The water views are lovely.Tuesday's are Taco Tuesday when you purchase tacos for $2.00 each. What a deal! I had two chicken tacos and a burrito with Baja haddock. Delicious! I love that customers pick their own sauce, ranging from mild to off-the-charts hot.All food is prepared fresh when ordered. It can get very busy, so go early if you can.Friendly server, too.Sorry, I was too busy eating to take photos!

Best fish tacos and nachos I've ever eaten.Very warm and welcoming restaurant even though we came in 30 minutes before closing on a long weekend.

Honestly, the best Mexican food I’ve ever had!!!! We are from Ontario and absolutely have to hit this place whenever we are near here!!!
