What kind of people they have hired who doesnt even know how to talk when we need help! We called them 03/17/22 at 12:30 pm to get an update on SSN card, she just started rude, she doesnt have any info

I would give negative 0 for this place! Stay away specially if your trying to get benefits for ur little ones that truly need it! I wish I could get a few people fired that don't need to be there and seem like they hate their job anyway!!! Hope management sees this!

Fast and efficient despite older women acting like children offering cuts and place holdings in queue before opening.

Polite, efficient service that truly went above-and-beyond. There had been a delay in me receiving my retirement Social Security benefits. My case was being reviewed by an out-of-state office that was back-logged by a few months. My Livonia representative called that office while I waited, had my file transferred to Livonia, worked on it immediately and even moved up my start date to reflect when I was fully qualified. The payments will appear in my bank account in a few days. Incredible. The visit worked out so much better than I expected. I owe a debt of gratitude for my rep who gave 110% to make it right.

This place is a joke. Good luck trying to get ahold of your case manager. My son was only getting ssi for 3 months when they purposely messed up the address so his payments got suspended now of course no one calls you back. Why work there when you can't do your job.

Very ridiculous experience. Horrible service.My dad passed away in October of 2021, and when I called in the last week of October, we were given an appointment on December 23rd, 2021. We were going to be in India during this time, so I asked for another date, and I was told that there were not any other dates. On the day of the appointment, due to network issues, the call did not go well, and I received a follow-up voicemail from the office that the benefits would remain and that we would need to schedule another appointment once we come back. I tried scheduling appointments from January of 2022, but I was always on hold for hours on hours. Due to being in medical school, I was unable to schedule in-person visits, and many of these locations were closed due to COVID-19. Finally, on March 17th, 2023, we went to the office (tried calling that day but was on hold for more than an hour), and after waiting for 2 hours, we had an appointment. The lady, clearly who was uninterested, told us that my brother's benefits expired because we did not come back within 6 months of appointment. We were never told about this 6 months deadline, and it is not mentioned anywhere on the information website. Therefore, we were told that my brother would not receive any benefits, just like that.It is ridiculous and atrocious to see our taxpayer money at work. Every paycheck, we pay, and when it is time for our benefits, we do not get any.I will definitely take this further because people have to know how arcane our offices and administration are.

They have 18 counters and only one was working. We spent 2 hours just to update some basic details on the account. If you are short staffed please have online appointments, so people don't have to wait for hours.

These people are cruel. I had a newborn at home and the representative requested certain supporting documentation. After obtaining the document requested, the representative said it wasn't good enough and asked for additional paperwork. She forced me to lose my place in line after waiting outside in line early before business opening and being here for hours because she has a time quota". There was no compassion or customer service. Stay away!"

Even just for a name change after getting married the wait is awful. 40+ people waiting and one person working. Such a joke. Ended up leaving. I guess if you’re not first in line before the place opens it’s an all day affair!
