Working with Fireman Movers was the best way to leave our beloved home of 30 years. Our initial meeting with the company set the stage for their honesty and professionalism. They quoted us the highest possible price and were upfront about that. This made it very easy for us to budget for our move. We had a two day move because of the distance. The team leader, Zach was there for both days while his crew changed. On each day, the teams were hard-working, responsive, and professional. We were out of our old house and into our new in less time than we thought would be required. Zach was also a master at packing the truck and so two trucks were not required in the end. The move cost us much less than we thought it would. Moving is hard. Hiring a moving company and working with them shouldn’t be. We strongly recommend Fireman Movers.Kim and Pete, Toronto.

I'm very late with my review, as Firemen Movers moved us on July 29, 2022 from Ajax to Whitby, but I'm finally settled and getting to my To-Do List! Michael, Alfonso, Owen, Zach and Jackson were amazing! Very careful with our items, friendly, positive can-do attitudes, and left absolutely no damage. On top of that, they were punctual and actually finished ahead of schedule. I've never had movers cost me less than my estimate! This was a first! Hiring Firemen Movers was the best decision and they alleviated so much of the stress of moving! Highly recommend! Thanks, guys!

What a great experience!From the time that we first contacted Firemen Movers, to the time we waived farewell to the moving crew, this was a wonderful experience. Flawless execution all the way through.We know from experience how stressful moves can be. This move was as stress free as it could be. Lorne was great when he came to estimate our two day move. Gave us great confidence that we had made the right choice. Dealing with Paisley and Melissa was a pleasure. Very responsive.Day 1 was disposal of surplus down sizing furniture. Thanks to Brendan and Andrew for taking on the challenge of the sectional sofa removal from the basement. You succeeded with an impossible task.Day 2 went amazingly well. The team of Jamie, Josh, Nahum and Rodney went into action like a well oiled machine. Very professional, quick and efficient. No damage.Everyone at Firemen Movers were so professional, but also friendly and great to deal with. The best experience with a company that I can remember for a long time.And the final cost came in significantly lower than the quote!We would have Firemen Movers do our next move without a second thought.

If I could give Firemen Movers 6 stars I would. From the time I called their office to the finish they were fantastic. They provided an accurate, on- site quote (final price was $100 less than quoted). Our move was over two days and so had different crews. Can’t say enough about all of them. Friendly, hard working, and careful. They had a great energy about them that helped to make our move days not only less stressful but enjoyable! Office staff is so helpful and friendly when you call. I am late posting this review and so I can’t remember all their names. Every crew member on my move was awesome, some of which were Brendon, Mike DF, Ish and Margie. Hire these guys, you will be happy you did!

I hired Fireman Movers to move me from one community, store my belongings while I built a home up north, then move me into my new place. They were flexible when I needed to push the move in date back while construction wrapped up. They are very professional and took great care with my belongings.

I so wanted to give this business a good review. The staff are lovely and always super helpful... until things started to go wrong.Unfortunately, our quote was incomplete, resulting in a price increase after we were committed. There was then a breakdown in communication meaning that the crew turned up on the day to move us when we had expected them to pack our boxes first. I take some responsibility here - I hadn't checked the inconsistency in the paperwork.The final straw though was the quality of the work. For example, my son's bunk beds were put together incorrectly and with screws pushed in at an angle, splitting the wood. We had to take it apart and put it back correctly ourselves. When the delivery was made, the first truck arrived fine, leaving only very slight indentations in the asphalt drive. It was a hot day and this is to be expected. However, the second truck conducted a turn in our residential driveway, digging large potholes in the asphalt. I have received quotes in the region of $700 to repair. Firemen Movers offered $200 and have not responded further to my communications. We're left disappointed and out of pocket.

Friends moved recently and used “Firemen Movers” to transport their belongings to their new condominium. They were so impressed, they encouraged me to use this company when it was my turn to move.Lorne came to my home and assessed how many people and hours would be needed to do the transition and gave me a quote. I liked his style of business and the fairness of the quote - and a week later MY crew arrived. Crew Chief - Tony, Eric and John introduced themselves and together we worked out a “Team Plan” for tackling the move. I have nothing but praise for how these 3 young men accomplished the goal of packing my belongings. Meticulous in detail, the care they took in wrapping, packing and sealing the boxes was amazing. They arrived at 9 a.m. and worked flat out until 5 p.m. with only a 15 minute (working) break for lunch.The next day, Josh arrived with the original 3 and, after more packing, my belongings were loaded, onto the truck then, just as carefully, off-loaded at my new apartment . Throughout, the consideration and respect that my belongings and I received were truly impressive. I am in awe of how they did their job: their professionalism, strength, kindness, enthusiasm and cheerfulness made the (potentially overwhelming ) physical and emotional challenges of the move so much easier to deal with.I also must add Xavia and Deanna in this testimonial. These are the ladies who co-ordinate the office-aspect of the business and and their friendliness, empathy and support were significant in making me delighted I chose “Firemen Movers!”I have told all my friends about the superb quality of care I have received.Lynette Jenkins24th October 2022

By far, by FAR, the Best moving company I've ever used. Zach and Mike D.F were professional, courteous, careful and on time. These guys moved my entire condo in less than 2 hours and then unloaded my items into a house in less than 2 hours. The entire time, they were friendly, engaging, very careful with my items and professional. It was an absolute pleasure hiring this company and I will only be hiring them again for all of my moves moving forward. I recommend this company 100x over.
