New Play
When we went the other day half the games were out of order, $50 and you don’t get much of a prize. Okay if you have toddlers to play, but we much prefer the rec room.

My kids love this place. The last lady cashier we talked to was so nice, she told me to keep our receipts because if we ever loose our cards (which already happened and was containing a lot of price points) they can transfer the points to a new card. This was a new information I got even though we've been going there for 5 years.The lady was also firm and kicked out some teenagers that were having too much fun time and were becoming nuisance to other patrons.The place is also close to the washrooms which was great.

Good for kids, but the few adult oriented games are broken and not calibrated. To bad i have the disposable income i could play shooting games for days.

$50 got us about an hour and a half worth of play time. Everything is about 8 credits per play.Not the largest array of options to play, but enough to keep the kids happy. They wanted me to play with them too.New play is run by the mall, and not an intependent operation. The Rec Room would be a larger arcade in the mall run by Cineplex (not to be confused with Ed's Rec Room, also in the mall)

Pay and you can play. Lots of flashing lights and screens to get your attention and spend your money. You play games with bought tokens to win tickets of various amounts to redeem for prizes in the end. It’s clean and well lit. It’s a lot of fun though it can cost you if you’re not careful. There are some older arcade games to play plus some video games.

Why is Rec Room and New Play not under the same umbrella? Aside from our experiences in redeeming points; we did enjoy ourselves here.

This was a blast! So many awesome kid and adult games. The photo booth is so fast and the pictures are very clear. Can't wait to go back.
