Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages
A perfect little spot! We came in for a nights rest from the camper before hitting the Cabot trail. The staff/owner were great!We had picked up fresh lobster, they brought us all the gear to cook it. The cabins were very clean and had everything we needed.Definitely recommend this little gem!

Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages
The view was breathtaking and the property was very well kept. Our cottage had more of home kind of feel, cozy and easy going. We had fresh towels and cleaning daily but were left otherwise undisturbed. Loved the fresh blue paint inside and bright red roofs outside.

It was a one night stay for us. 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. Checked in at 3pm. James the host was great. Views and cottage amazing. Highly recommend.

We are a family of 4 on a road trip, staying only for one night at cabin 5. Awesome view, this is a clean and cozy place to stay for the night. I would come back again. Great place.

Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages
We stayed for six nights at Chisholms as a family of four with two young boys. The cottages were perfect, clean and comfortable. The view of the Strait from the cottages are stunning. It was close to town and all the beaches to enjoy during the daytime! Close to the Ceiliah Trail to do some exploring and lots of outdoor space for the kids to run around. James the owner was absolutely wonderful.This was my second stay at the cottages and will absolutely be back in the future!!

BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!!!We stayed 5 days in Cottage 7 & I didn't want to leave! The bed was very comfortable, the cottage was clean, a private deck over looking Canso causeway in the distance, ocean & mountains views, very peaceful & quiet!Clean towels daily & garbage removal.The owners were very friendly & you can see that they take great care of the place.I can't wait to return!!!

What an amazing place! My husband and I came up for the weekend to ATV on the trails. Our cabin #11 was so nice, it was private, clean with amazing views of the ocean. When we arrived it was nighttime, but so peaceful only sound was the waves! The colours in Cape Breton this time of year are spectacular. I highly recommend this place to visit, and walk, bike or ATV the trails and beach you won’t be disappointed. We are already booking next year with family! Thanks Chisholm’s, your the best!!

An excellent base to explore Cape Breton. Cabins are clean, well maintained, warm (we were here for the last storms of Spring), with decent wi-fi, tv and everything you need to cater for your stay. Owner is helpful and responds quickly to questions/calls for help!View is TO DIE FOR and a short walk down the hill puts you directly onto the Cabot Trail and, with a bit of exploring onto long sand bars that reach out into the ocean from the salt marshes.Highly recommended.

Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages
The cottages were immaculately clean and so carefully decorated. From the seashell shaped cloths to the high quality bath towels to the ice made in the freezer. The owners obviously take great pride in their business and it shows. The high ceilings make the cottages feel more like a home than a cottage. These are truly the nicest cottages we have ever stayed at and the VIEW is spectacular. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Highly Recommend and when we return to this area we will stay again.
