Ok, I don't relish leaving a negative review, especially when it's a private, neighborhood business. BUT....In this case, I have absolutely no hesitation. I am so disappointed with the quality of care that I received from the new walk in clinic they opened up at the pharmacy. Shocked really!First of all it is not made clear that you won't actually be seeing a doctor at all. It's a mobile clinic (I think it's called). Then, you have to fill out your own registration. Fine. But if you take too long, it self-deletes. All that work!! Happened to me!! Including extra notes to doctor etc. Ok...then, you basically get told the doctor will call in 2 hours. Ok, off I go. 4 hours later...I call them. I am promptly told to stop talking so loud!". I am hearing impaired...no problem. I tone it down. Rude. Then I am told the doctor is going to call. Be patient. I say

I've been a client of Rideau Pharmacy for almost 15 months now. I have to go most days of the week, and I must say that most of the time the staff are very professional and courteous. Melissa in particular is a complete sweetheart, and will go out of her way to help anyone. However (besides Melissa -- she has never once done any of the following) when they make a mistake -- it's always VERY big. And while trying to correct a mistake, they take FOREVER to do so. If my medication (which they know I come for every day except weekends) isn't ready when I get there... why does it take over an hour (sometimes) to make it? My medication isn't the usual bottle of pills -- it takes literally about 15 seconds to physically prepare. I understand that the pharmacist is very busy, and that there are a lot of deliveries etc. I'm a very patient person -- but now, every time I show up and it's not ready I start to get irritated because I KNOW I'm going to be sitting there. When they know you come every day it makes it harder to justify. I actually DO have things to do, believe it or not, and it's really frustrating when (for example) my ride has to sit outside waiting for me for 45 minutes. Or if I'm on my way to an appointment. Do I leave and risk missing my medication or wait and be late? I shouldn't have to be in that position.THAT ALL BEING SAID -- the staff are very compassionate and caring. It's only a select few who cause problems -- and they've been 'cleaning house' from what I've heard through the grapevine. I have heard stories from friends of mine that go there that top my complaints to an extreme. I literally could not believe what I was hearing until I had it confirmed by a third party. I won't repeat someone else's story here but suffice it to say that when they screw up, they screw up bad. But as mentioned before, %90 of the time everything is smooth.A %10 failure rate though is still very high.

This is my go-to pharmacy because, well...they are incredible! They do close earlier than other pharmacies so keep that in mind. However, the service from the owner/pharmacist and staff is unbeatable. They happily go above-and-beyond.Thank-you!⚠️ CAUTION HOURS OF OPERATION (google has it wrong)Saturday closes at 4pmSunday closes at 3pm

I have been with this pharmacy for 15 years. I followed them when they moved. The owner's, Ahmad and his wife go above and beyond to help you. I would follow them anywhere.

Yay, my little neighbourhood pharmacy is back. I'm still surprised as to how this little feels is still in business completing the giants, but I do hope and pray that it continues to serve us.Products and Services: The pharmacy carries pretty much everything you will need to cure yourself. From personal stuff such as, lube, protection to knee band, skin care products. Prescription fulfillment. All done in timely manner workout any wait times.Parking: Enough parking spots available both on the street, and on the backside of the store.Support Local: I personally love this little pharmacy, and will continue supporting it. Thank you.

Rideau Pharmacy is hands down one of the best pharmacies in the downtown area. Friendly and experienced staff will always make sure your visit to the pharmacy is nothing less of exceptional.
