If I could give zero stars, I would. So many people have worked here and quit because they are not focused on their employees or customers at all. The heads of the company and managers just want to sell you things and get you out. Susan especially, manager of the Princess location has been known to mistreat her staff and constantly get away with it. Maybe if this place would give another person other than Susan or Chantelle the chance at being manager, people would be more drawn to it. There’s a reason why it gives an awkward vibe when you walk in. Start with treating your employees better, and maybe you will be able to succeed as a company.

We always have a great shopping experience here, the staff are so friendly and their product knowledge is exceptional. We recently had Mabel helping us in store and can say that she went above and beyond what you normally get for customer service these days. We couldn’t believe how much she knew about all the products and the advice she was able to give. She genuinely cared about setting us up perfectly with exactly what we wanted. This store is now our go-to after visiting all the other baby stores in the city.

This location is not accessible at all. We had to carry our stroller up 3 different flights of steps to get into the store. A staff member did offer to help once we were up the first two flights, but it’s still incredibly difficult getting into the store. I realize this is a historic/warehouse building but there should still be a note on the website noting that it is not an accessible location. We would never have come to this location if we had known.

Have bought all of our big (and small) ticket baby items from WCK. We’ve been mostly helped by Jesther (princess location) and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. Never found the store to be pushy and they also carry most of the brands we are usually looking for.

Me and my wife came in recently to buy a stroller for our new born and the associate Janies was a great help. She went above and beyond to help us find the right one that we needed and recommended other products as well and definitely made our visit way easier and comfortable as it was our first baby.Will definitely be going there again for more baby products!

Great place to shop for quality baby gear. After three kids, this is still my go-to for gear and furniture—they carry many high end brands that are hard to find or unavailable elsewhere in the city. Staff are knowledgeable and super helpful—they really go above and beyond. I think this is the better of the two locations in the city, top notch service and definitely worth the trip downtown.

We are expecting twins so drove in from out of town to WCK (with previously positive experiences) on Princess. We asked for help to pick out stroller and car seats - the 20-something year old had zero interest or knowledge and essentially told us “look around, find what you like and then see if it adapts w what else you like…” and left us there to essentially do her job for her. Needless to say we went elsewhere…

Ordered a car seat from them and it came to us in a questionable state. Looks to me like the box was previously opened (so used car seat?), has significant deformation (dropped?), and other problems. Waiting on Customer Service to follow up.I have ordered car seats from the manufacturer before and they certainly don't come this way!Either West Coast Kids or UPS screwed up.

During our last visit, we were helped by Kayla at the Princess St. location in Winnipeg. Kayla was SO helpful and went out of her way to help us find what we needed and even tracked down certain items across the country to make sure we left with everything we were looking for. Really great to be taken after such friendly and knowledgeable staff person!!! Thank you!
