Hobbs Resort

Cute. Stunning lake, especially at sunset. Staff was really friendly, helpful, and laidback. I wasn't there for fishing which I gather is most of the clientele. Sites are really close together so although it's a pretty secluded spot once you get to the grounds it's pretty tight. We rented a cabin and the interior was log cabin cute, clean, stocked amenities, wifi, and satellite tv. Hanging light strands around the site were a nice touch.

I've been to Hobbs many times. Great improvements have been made since first going. First class fishing and the owners are great. Highly recommended this place if you love fishing.

Always great and friendly service. The campground and facilities are kept clean and they have a good clientele that respects the other campers so it's always quiet and peaceful.

Had a great weekend here for the first time. Very easy to contact at any time of day, camp was very clean and pretty quiet, each site has a table and garbage, huge sites with water/electric available, very family friendly, great view from our lot, the shoreline is very unique and gorgeous and kept the kids busy. I do wish I knew how rocky the waterfront sites were though, so I could bring extra padding for our tent.Plan on coming again. Thanks for everything :)

Beautiful cabins, clean and spacious. Experienced some incredible ice fishing for trout and walleye. Lloyd was very accommodating and friendly during our winter trip. Will be back again!

We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time! Campsites are right next to the water, perfect for watching the sunset! They have a bathroom trailer with sinks, modern toilets and hot showers! You could tell they cleaned the bathrooms daily, very CleanGreat Hopitality, Gareth the owner helped us with directions and gave us tips on what lakes and rivers we should checkout with our canoe! We visited Foot Print Lake. Thank you Gareth & team we can't wait to visit again!!

Had a great time here. Garreth is an excellent host. We rented a cabin for two nights and a camper for one. Everything was clean and comfortable. Fire pits to gather around with the family. A nice wave break on the boat launch/marina allows you to load and unload no matter what happens with the weather. Fishing is great on Cedar Lake and amazing on the river downstream of the generating station at Grand Rapids (I'd tell you how many fish we caught but we couldn't keep track). Very functional fish cleaning shack. They also have nice campsites there. The boats we rented were a nice size, big enough for seven people with easy to use Yamaha motors. I highly recommend Hobbs Resort. We've already booked for next summer!

Quick response when we needed to book on short notice. Everything was ready for us when we arrived late. Comfy beds. Great spot.

Fantastic campsite. The host Garreth was great to deal with. Sites are beautiful, lots of trees, and huge fire pits! Some sites are right on the lake and it's very quiet. I'd make a detour to camp here again.
