We moved a number of accounts from IG to RBC. In doing so we found out our spousal RRSP was never set up properly and to make matters worse a year and a half ago when the issue was first brought to light by our IG rep he assured us it was taken care of. Fast forward to now, and as we are trying to move the account we find out its still set up reverse to what it should have been. They claim they cant do anything due to the time that's lapsed and I was directed to CRA as the only possible resolution. If I knew the attention to detail was lacking this bad I would never have placed $1 with IG. Our accounts were shipped to head office the moment we started transferring them to RBC leaving us without a rep to deal with and their head office is insanely back logged. Thanks for nothing IG, I wouldn't recommend their services to my worst enemies.

Awful experience. Unreliable. Nothing but headaches.
