Took some time in the emergency to see the doctor but it’s understandable because limited resources at the hospital. Once I met Dr Jake (Jacob I believe), it was a smooth, reassuring and pleasant experience. Then came Michelle who guided to the X-Ray area and she was so polite & pleasant too. Ditto experience with the lady at the X-ray room.I don’t wish that anyone has to go to a hospital but in an unavoidable circumstance, there are some really good humans you can trust at this hospital.

This hospital emergency room is a joke! Very rude staff, slow , critically ill patients left on floor, severely asthmatic patient left to fight for air in triage, no one is friendly ! Had to wait 5 hours then told another 8 hours waiteventually walked out and glad I did.Security officer did not lift his head as he was too busy on his phone for hours.Unbelievable!

MOST of the Nurses were good.Except the big fat nurse( I am fat so I can say this- also it helps identify her as I don’t know her name yet.) Dads surgery was end of April 2023 and he was on the 8th floor. You went to my dads room and said I will see you at 12 and left.Dad told you “your 4 hours late, oh I didn’t want to wake you!!” Was your response at 4 pm,then he asked for water- you told him—you don’t need any just go to sleep- you never got him any- he’s elderly.I will try to find your name and post it.You guys don’t send any rules about how to care for him, shower him, and the injections to prevent blood clots- no SCRIPT for it.Please focus on the patients you are paid to care for.

The shape you sent my 81 year old mother home from the ER in is absolutely disgusting. She had a medical event in which she lost her speech and became completely ataxic. Her BP systolic was 210. You all sent her home with a Sulpha drug and your best wishes.I work for another Canadian healthcare corp and if we ever sent anyone home in this condition, I’d quit on the spot in disgust. Thank you for making me try to manage a stroke patient at home with my 87 year old father and no resources.

Likely the worst hospital I've been to. We came in with severe dehydration and fevers. It was around 5am. The wait time was 6h to start and quickly became 12h. The staff at the front reception desk were too busy socializing and laughing away to notice a patient having a seizure right in front of them. It took all the waiting patients yelling for seizure help" for the nurses to finally notice. Did they rush over? No. They took their time

This place is awesome!! 10/10 to the doctors in the Emergency room. Thanks for the dedication and thorough examinations you did for my son Aaron. He was there alone and the care was the best ever. He has had several experiences in hospital, but the doctors yesterday were amazing. Went above and beyond.

In the early hours of March 9th I was taken to UH with severe chest pain. I would like to thank the ER staff and doctors for quickly doing the necessary tests recognizing that I was having a heart attack. They were so caring and supportive during what was very scary time. Within a few hours I was having a angeoplasty for a blocked artery. To Jillian, Ania, Quinn, Kyle and Carolyn my nurses thank you for your excellent care during my stay in the CCU. Our healthcare system may have it's struggles and sometimes things don't work as quickly as we would like but it has always been there for our family. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who do a sometimes thankless job, you keep it all going.

Can't say enough good things about the excellent Doctors and Nurses in the Emergency Room and Cardiac floor. They made sure I had all the tests and follow up needed for a positive outcome. I can't thank them enough. They truly are the most dedicated people you can find.

For this hospital to have the audacity to send a sympathy card when my father passed saying “thinking of you” is nothing short of a joke. To count all of the negligence this hospital bestowed on my father in his final days is still very upsetting for me to try to wrap my head around but they let my father lay there for 4 DAYS after brain surgery, his brain swelling by the hour and they couldn’t be bothered to call us to update us. We got a call the night of saying “everything went fine , he’s resting” and then radio silence for 4 days. We had to call the college of doctors to track them down and only then did they find the time to reach out to let us know he’s actually dying and we need to come say goodbye . You couldn’t even think of us to let us know he was dying and when we came to say goodbye the staff was unbelievably rude and impatient with us. It’s been 5 months and I tried to let it go but I’ll never forgive the trauma you all caused me and my dad . Keep your generic cards , they do more harm than good when they aren’t backed by sincerity .

My mom had a heart attack and was moved to this hospital for a triple bypass surgery. I can not say enough good things about the level of care she received. Her healing was slower than average but they never rushed her to leave until she was felt well enough. I can't thank the wonderful doctors and nurses in the Cardiac icu and Critical care unit enough for the patience and compassion they showed my mom during some very tough weeks.
