Dr. Allen and his team are amazing! Not very often can you be excited to go to an orthodontist, with them you will be. From the first appointment to the last, they explain what is going on with your teeth and what to expect. You never leave an appointment with any questions. He and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Allen was a beacon of hope when three other well established orthodontists in and around Ottawa would only advise surgery for my child's problem. Now after 2,5 yrs of non-invasive treatments, my daughter's braces were removed and she is proud over her winning smile and perfect bite. What a success!!Dr. Allen's skills allowed him to take on risks where others shied away- for this we will always be very grateful. Dr. Allen and his team are simply the best!!

We have used Dr Allen for both of our kids orthodontics. A total of about 4.5 years of treatment. Dr Allen is wonderful. He is very personable and great with the kids. We are very happy with the results. Appointments are ALWAYS on time and we are rarely there longer than 15min. We never feel rushed and Dr Allen is always accomodating with questions and updates.Melissa (Accounting) is great with getting the paperwork setup and the front desk staff are also very nice to work with.Unfortunately my first son had to have his braces put back on a year or so after they came off. This had nothing to do with Dr Allen or his staff. Dr Allen was both empathetic and extremely accomodating. I can't recommend him enough.

My youngest is about to finish up with Dr. Allen and his team and I cannot say enough nice things about how we have been treated. The atmosphere, quality of work and friendliness from door to chair and back again is unparalleled. My only complaint is that I didn't take my eldest to see the Doctor too! Thank you very much!

Dr. Allen is amazing with our son and a very approachable person in general. I would've given 5 stars but reception is quite cold when we visit and so is the coordinator.

Dr.Scott is amazing. I needed to get Invisalign’s and he walked me through everything. My issue is with Melissa. I was having trouble with one of the Invisalign’s to the point my gum was hurting. I quickly stopped by and the girl at the front desk greeted me. For some reason she went and got Melissa who proceeded to read me the riot act by telling me that because of the pandemic I just can’t stop by. I told her they felt uncomfortable and that I just needed to see someone quickly. She told me I had to wait 20 minutes. I told her I couldn’t as we own our own business and I couldn’t wait. I once again asked again if I could see someone. She got an assistant and the assistant looked after me. My own dentist would never lecture me that way. We own our own business and we never treat our customers this way

A thoroughly professional experience from start to finish. Given that orthodontic work can be a challenge for children, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the entire process was, for myself and for my daughter. Appointments were always on schedule, all the work being done was explained in advance and there were no hidden costs or surprises. The entire staff were warm and welcoming which added that personal touch and made for a positive atmosphere in the office. For these reasons I have no hesitation in recommending Dr.Allen to anyone looking for an amazing orthodontist.

I have been with Dr. Scott Allen for over 4 years now. My case was a little more complex then most because I had braces over Covid and I also needed jaw surgery but Dr. Allen was fantastic from suggesting a surgeon, to answer my million questions, communicating with both my dentist and surgeon, and also was also very accommodating throughout the whole experience. I can not recommend him and his team enough, ever visit I was always cheerfully greeted, I never had a long waiting time for my appointment, and all my concerns were answered each time since I am a patient that had braces in my mid 20s. I am so pleased with my results.

My son had a very positive experience with braces at Allen orthodontics. (Well...as much as any teen can have.) We didn't quite make the goal of having them off by graduation - but we weren't expecting a pandemic either. Regardless, he is very happy with his smile and shows it off MUCH more with those nice straight teeth. As a bonus - he claims when the braces came off he could now whistle!
