The atmosphere has a rustic feel with touch of modern design. We were greeted with professionalism and friendliness.Our waiter was just as the front staff, during our meal he inquired how things were going and asked us if there was anything we needed.Our meal the rib eye and top sirloin were cooked to correct temperature and was flavoured nicely.Both of the Chinese kale on both plates were undercooked definitely not “ al dente “ ( to the tooth) . We had to use the steak knife to cut. And both had no flavour disappointment when the beets were flavourful and cooked to “ al dente”.The rices was bland as well and it wasn’t what we had requested. We told our waiter that it wasn’t what we wanted and he promptly apologized and said he would correct it and free of charge. This definitely a correct way of handling a mistake from either the kitchen or front end well done.The Escargot were breaded nicely, no real flavours to the breading. But the lemon garnish and the buttery garlic with the escargot helped compliments the dish, which cancels out the not flavourful breading.The spicy Caesar was definitely spicy with a nice twist of vodka instead of beer. The pepperoni was a little small but all in all a good drink.The fountain drink one guest order we found it to be smaller amount given than other restaurants ( see picture).

My wife and I were celebrating 22 years of marriage. The staff wished us when we came in as I had made reservations. Then, the gave us a complimentary drink and the staff made us a card wishing us with a complimentary appetizer for when we come back. Then, they also gave us a dessert to share that said “happy anniversary” on the plate. Our server was really friendly and the atmosphere was great! Will definitely go back. Thank you Chop Steakhouse!

Met my co-workers for lunch at Chop and had a wonderful experience. We started off with a couple of drinks. The lemonade was very tasty. We all order appetizers. The salt & pepper wings and onion rings were a big hit. My colleagues also really enjoyed the crab cakes along with the chili garlic shrimp. A number of us ordered from the dinner menu, and our main courses did not disappoint. The steak and shrimp were delicious. My top sirloin was cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. The sauteed garlic shrimp were tasty, as were the seasonal vegetables and fully loaded baked potato. The sauteed mushrooms really topped off the steak in my opinion, and there were a lot of them. We finished off our meal by splitting a number of the desserts that were available. The pineapple upsidedown cake and the New York cheesecake with seasonal fruit (Saskatoon berries) was delightful. Our server, Jose, was very attentive and had some great suggestions for us.

Have been multiple times since they opened and have had great experiences every time. Recently stopped in for brunch and our server Cheyenne was very quick and attentive.Previously we went for birthday dinner and had a lovely experience but forgot to review. Our server that night was wonderful and even recommended a wine that was not on the menu! The entire team was great and even provided a birthday card for the birthday girl that was signed by staff that night.

Just finished our Mother’s Day dinner at Chop and we had Jordan as our server. She was so personable and full of energy. Our wine and dinner was amazing. Our steaks came out perfectly. It was great to have a dinner where the service and food were both exceptional. Thank you Jordan for making my wife’s first Mother’s Day so special

The food was Delish , atmosphere was lively and fun, but the service was the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress Katie was friendly, very helpful and very attentive. Hands down the best server I’ve ever had. Thanks for making our evening so much better !!

Great food, and they squeezed us in when they were fully booked, as long as we were done by a certain time. I had a smoked ribeye and it was perfectly cooked (rare) but still with a nice char. I do wish it came with a side salad instead of charging $6 extra, especially when the steak is $50.

First and foremost this is a hotel part restaurant of Sandman so we expect a quality of Sandman services. True enough the food is exquisite, not short of ingredients and right portionings. But if you have a big bucket surely you will get another round because of the enticing flavour it drops to every bite. The professionally warm welcome of the lady serving you well that's a big factor to deciding what to get, the manner she introduces the dish, you just won't say No. we enjoyed our lunch and so our hunger. Will definitely recommend, and will surely get back this time with the family.
