Just drove from out of town to get a pressure washer that was on sale for $129. Picked one up. It rang in for $149. Clerk had me walk her over to the presaure washers and show her the price. She took a picture and we went back to her till to ring it in. Had another clerk help. They had apparently set the price marker incorrectly. This was not $129. They called a supervisor and explained it was priced wrong. They could not give it to me for that price. That's fine, where are the $129 washers? That's what I want. We are alll out

a few days ago I bought a very expensive patio set from Rona. They had a promotion on where you got 10% back in gift cards which I received. Somewhere between the store and my vehicle I must have dropped the card and didn't realise until I was home in Guelph (My fault, I acknowledge that) however since it was so soon after and I had all the receipts including the card number on it I thought I'd try my luck. So I drove 20 mins back to the store. I spoke to a lovely young lady at the service desk who called who I presume to be a manager. The manager told her to take a photocopy of the receipts and get my name and phone number and this manager" would call me later after contacting the card company. That phone call never came

As others mentioned, returning items in this store is a big hassle and they look for all sort of excuses. You buy 3000 dollar items and return 75 dollar after 100 days and they say it was on clearance and they don't carry it anymore so they cannot return it. If you want to see what is real hassle free return policy, check out a home depot store and you will never hear any excuses. People hardly buy construction materials from a store that they cannot return the remaining items hassle-free and construction projects take more than 90 days. These guys don't understand this simple rule and that is why they are failing and closing down. Manager Michael was the worst. He does not understand that if he does not return 2 boxes of vinyl flooring (out of 45 boxes that i purchased), i will never ever go back to Rona and i don't care if they don't carry it in stock anymore. Unbelievable how these people care little about customer satisfaction !!!

This location is set to close up on January 31, 2020 along with 25 others in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. They're having sales for 30%-50%.

Went to return an item, when dealing with the customer service representative she told me that she cannot take it back as I don’t have the packaging. She said she can’t put it back on the shelf, which I told her she shouldn’t do anyways as the item is defective and needs to go back to the manufacture. She looks at the item and says “looks fine to me”. So I replied by saying “OK then you take it home then”. This shouldn’t Have been a discussion, I had my receipt all items except the packaging. Won’t be going back to Rona ever again.

This a former building box location and still has most of their colors up on shelves. You can tell not much importance was ever placed on this location. Very poor organization and they never know what have in stock. This store is the definition of frustration. I do like some brands they sell which has forced me to attempt to tolerate this store.

I like this store a lot. I bought all the laminate flooring for our family room and home office. Good service from the staff.It's a real shame to hear that Lowes Corp. will be shutting down this location.

Had a very helpful lady from electrical help me with an item on sale in seasonal. They had no stock. She asked me to go to customer service that I could pay for it at the sale price and they would order it. When I asked to order it at Customer Service the nasty lady there told me in a snitty tone that she doesn't know when/if I would get it. Asked me when I needed it (it wasn't a rush), and reluctantly told me she could try but it comes on a boat from China". I walked out of that store with no intention of every returning. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!"

Customer service definitely needs work. Ordered a product for pickup online. The customer service rep spent a bunch of time on the phone chatting with friends instead of helping us get our order. Then when she finally did, told us we couldn't pay for the other items we wanted to buy at her register. Sent us to another one to check out. Poor customer service. Sorry we inconvenienced you!

If you are good to shop on your own it's good. If you need help at the floor, better look for another store. The floor staff are mostly young guys and have absolutely zero knowledge of the products. Literally asked for help from four guys and they just walked away saying the other guy will help you. Terrible customer service.
