Appalling attitude from the girl working the checkout on Canada day. My transaction was all but 5 minutes and in that time the attitude she gave was disgusting. If you don’t like your job find a new one. Felt bad for the other girl she was bossing around.

My sister and I stopped by the store over the weekend looking for a specific hoodie and the two staff behind the counter had zero interest in helping us find the correct size.They were short, rude and seemed to have more important things to do.As bad as I wanted the hoodie I ended up leaving the store.Horrible customer service!!

Went in the other day to try on a wetsuit I was keen on. It didn't end up being a good fit for me, however I was really impressed by the knowledge, patience, and overall kindness of the guy who helped me. He was more interested in genuinely helping me find something which would perform well than making a sale. They have a great selection of wetsuits.

I changed my three star review to a five. Original review below. The owner quickly followed up with me and we had a great conversation. I now believe this was an isolated incident and stand by that Storm is the best surf shop in Tofino!While in Tofino we visited Storm twice. Once was for a wetsuit and boots and the guy that helped us was super helpful and interactive. We went back two days later to buy Storm apparel and the three staff members could not be bothered saying hello or offering help. One of them just sat on the steps watching us trying to find a size while waiting for her break. Great store…terrible staff.

I walked into the shop just to browse, but ended up walking away with a pair of Oboz Bridger hiking boots. The girl that helped me was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I've been on a few hikes already and my feet have never felt better while hiking! Thanks!
