The Children's Place

My 5 year old Daughter has been attending Children's Place Daycare since the age of 1 and is still currently attending before and after school care. The facility is very clean and tidy and lots of activities indoors/outdoors for the kids. And the staff is truly amazing and great with the kids as they are always kind and courteous to parents, my daughter absolutely loves it there! I highly recommend this daycare for anyone considering

Our daughter has been attending the children’s place since just before her first birthday and had since moved up through many of their programs (infant, toddler and preschool). We could not be any happier with the level of service and commitment to a safe, educational and friendly environment. Hearing your child say “I love you” to her care providers and asking to go to daycare so she can see her friends is such a comfort.Every staff member we have encountered have been extremely professional while also making an effort to get to know the family they are providing care for, not just the child. We couldn’t ask for a better environment to foster our little ones developing mind and curiosity.I have previously and will continue to recommend this childcare centre to friends and family members.

The Children's Place was part of our family's lives for over 3+ years and we could not be happier with the services that were provided!Our children went through the Infant program, Toddler program and JK program. The teachers were absolutely wonderful with the children and so creative in this pandemic in finding great activities for them to play and learn while managing these extra difficult circumstances.They are very engaging with the parents and communicate well in terms of our children's development and create programs based not only by age groups but also by the children's personal interests.I highly recommend this daycare centre to anyone looking for a wonderful second family" for your children while you need to work !"

The Children's Place is amazing!!! The staff are professional and loving. My sons have been attending the Children's Place for 7 years and my daughter for 2. My children love attending the Children's Place and enjoy the arts and crafts, the yard time and the field trips. They have all made many friends that we hope to keep long after they are no longer attending the daycare. If it were not for the Children's Place I am not sure what I would do.

Both of our boys attend The Children's Place (TCP) and we are so happy! The staff turnover is very low, ensuring a consistent, stable environment for the kids. Our boys have formed very close bonds with their teachers, which was so important to us, helping us to feel like they were with safe, warm and loving care providers. The centre is beautiful and has lots of space with VERY nice outdoor play areas. They give the kids lots of time outside and provide lots of opportunity for fine and gross motor development, socialization, emotional regulation, and cognitive skills. They maintain an excellent social media presence (no pictures of the kids included, of course), helping us to feel connected to what is happening at the daycare. Their posts have also included activity ideas for all different ages (super helpful during covid), as well as videos/pictures of the teachers so that we can get to know them a bit more. I feel like I can call them anytime and they will spend whatever time is needed to touch base on how our kids are doing, which provides great comfort. We truly feel they are an extended family". The Children's Place has been an amazing daycare for our 3 children.The Staffs have been professional and friendly and they do really have a heart for the children.One of my children started attending the daycare at around 5 months old and seeing how they made room for her,and treated her nicely and gave her some special attention really impressed us.We were not sure how our daughter who was almost 5 months old at that time was going to cope but they took great care of her sothat My wife could start a new job.Our children have been through or are going through the Infant program, Toddler program and JK (special days) program.We love The Children's Place. They do have an amazing program for kids.

The Children’s Place is an amazing childcare facility that I have had the privilege to work at for over 30yrs. The quality of care they offer is second to none. The educators and management go above and beyond for all parents and children. In my 30yrs I have seen many children grow up within our centre. One of the best things I have seen is when a child comes back to the centre all grown up (as an adult) and becomes a staff or enrols their own child in the centre. This makes me feel I have done my job successfully. If you want your child to feel like they are part of a family then The Children’s Place is the childcare centre for you.

We are very happy with the childcare services provided by the Children's Place Kanata. Our son is happy to see the staff every morning, there is lots of outdoor play time, the arts and crafts are well organized, and there is continuous development due to good programming. A lot of the employees have been there for a long time, which is a good sign of a positive childcare environment. Our son is thriving and we are comfortable knowing that he is being well taken care. We are also confident in the COVID protocols that have been put in place in order to keep staff and children as safe as possible.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for everything you have done for my family. There is nothing more precious in this world than one's own child, and to put trust in another to watch over our children was a very big deal for my family.We felt it would be impossible to find a centre that would leave us feeling confident he was in a safe, nurturing environment and that had flexible/extended hours to accommodated our work schedules.Then we found The Children's Place!I believe that our decision to have our son in your care was one of the major milestones in his life. Yes, college, marriage, etc are big deals also, however, your child becomes who they are from a very young age and when they are surrounded by love, discipline, and mental stimulation at young ages, they grow up to be more confident and stable. You truly have created that environment and more for him and all the other children in your centre.I knew the minute I walked in, that it was the perfect place for us! The Childrens Place has created an environment for the children that is fun, and nurturing. I could not believe how easy the transition was for our family. Our son's verbal, physical and social development has exploded while in their care. They have shown tremendous patience with us while making the transition and have partnered with us in the raising of our son. They communicate constantly with parents so you always know the progress of your child.When I come to pick him up, he would almost rather stay and play then come home because all his friends and teacher's are there. Which speaks volumes about the care and atmosphere of TCP.If you are lucky enough to find a space available at the childrens place don't pass it up!

The entire staff at The Children`s Place have become part of our family; they are wonderful!Everyone there goes above and beyond with our son. He is always greeted with a smile and a big “Hello” no matter if they are his teachers or not, we feel as if they all know him by name, which gives an incredible feeling of trust and security when dropping him off for the day. He is always excited to go!Every day our son is proud to show us his daily art creation and loves to tell us about all the fun he has had and the friends he has made. He enjoys countless fun crafts, play outside, and it feels as if he comes home and shares something new that he has learnt.Any time we may have had a question, concern or comment, the staff has always provided an answer and are always happy to help.We love The Children’s Place and couldn’t imagine a better daycare for our son!
