Imagine Children's Dentistry

On April 21st, 2022 - after leaving my first review explaining my daughters last experience at Dr Faulkners office - I had requested my deposit of $300 back for my other daughters appointment. Dr Faulkner proceeded to call me and explain my previous review was harmful to her new “business” and she would not return my deposit until I deleted my previous review. She said she would “hang onto it” until she “got around to sending it” unless I removed it (the Google review) ASAP. She however told her staff that she was waiting for “insurance to pay” for my daughters previous visit.The following is at the request of Faulkner - with my truth added in for explanation.Dr Faulkner felt that my post did not include how she went “above and beyond” by accepting my children on 50% insurance & 50% healthy smiles basis. She also claimed she didn’t HAVE to accept healthy smiles - therefore I was BLESSED by her even looking at my low income children.I guess I’ll add in right now that - Faulkner… Assuming I was low income, held my $300 above my head thinking she could use extortion on me - then accused me of yelling at her staff when I called crying (not yelling - CRYING) because of my daughters experience of not having enough freezing. She said this because I told her that it was unprofessional of her to put my child through that, then hold my money from me, so she needed to point fingers back at me.In all honesty, who wouldn’t be hurt by their child having to endure unnecessary pain. Actually her newest staff member is rather pleasant and very kind, the staff/desk girl apologized multiple times where Dr Faulkner only made excuses. Faulkner continued to say my child didn’t report pain - which was not true -why would she (Faulkner) give her (my child) “breaks” between drilling if no pain was reported or even suspected. When I pointed this out, Faulkner was at a loss for words.So, “Dr” Faulkner requested I leave a review stating how she blessed us “low income folk” by accepting us as patients, and that she didn’t have to accept healthy smiles along with my insurance - that she seen us after being late by 5-10 minutes or whatever it was (when her location is across town) & she claims fixing their mistake that caused my child pain (in the same day, see below for details) was also “above and beyond”.This mistake they made on my daughters tooth - I had to return to her office driving 30 minutes (ONE way with gas prices @ 1.75/L) so Faulkner could fix the mistake she made earlier that day. That mistake caused my daughter pain - the tooth was made sharp because of filling “splashing” onto another tooth and was sharp - repeatedly stabbing my child’s tongue. By the way, Faulkner claims the filling splashing onto the other tooth and causing a sharp edge on a different tooth was NOT a mistake. This sharp edge was causing pain by stabbing my daughters tongue that she didn’t notice while still numb - this was the appointment before our last.I considered leaving her office then, (having to go an hour out of my way so that they could fix THEIR mistake) and boy I wish I did!! It would have saved my child suffering for an hour under a drill with not enough freezing!!! 9.5/10 pain reported 10 seconds on 5 seconds off!!!! Anyways. Dr Faulkner requested I update Google with how she blessed us so many times (I should have left when I felt the “greater than thou” attitude from her hygienist/assistant/whatever she is, at our first visit). I read people very well, and i got a bad vibe from that assistant right away!If you like fake pleasantness and being treated greater than thou if your husbands insurance will cover everything then by all means, go to see Faulkner. The “Dr” who can’t say sorry for harming a child and who uses extortion on the patients who she believes are low income and leave bad google reviews.Thank you for reading.Take care.

Wonderful dentist's office. They took my 4 month old son in less than a week after we first called, to fix his tongue and lip tie, we were referred to their office from our friend. We live in Windsor too so it was a big drive but they were very accommodating and made sure we got an appointment ASAP, like I said we didn't even wait a week after first calling. They did an excellent job at the procedure and kept our infant son happy and safe. We love their office and would definitely return for any future needs, especially since our daughter has autism and high special needs and their office excels in treating children with such needs in addition to all typical children's dental care needs. Worth the drive for sure, and all their staff and Dr Hayley are extremely professional, kind, and helpful to assist ASAP. Highly recommend this clinic!!!

Absolutely gorgeous and inviting dental office for kids! My son had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend Imagine Children’s dentistry. The entire team is amazing and make the experience very comfortable for children. The office is very clean and inviting for kids. They initiate casual conversation to develop that calm relaxing environment and answer any questions the kids (or parents) may have while explaining everything they’re doing. Their communication is excellent. I can’t say enough good things!

Dr Faulkner assessed and treated our newborns lip and tongue tie. Her team was so thorough with the information on the procedure and after care. They really spent their time with us and we left feeling very comfortable and confident! I would definitely recommend Dr Faulkner!

The experience was great for my 6 year old daughter. They made her feel soo comfortable and relax. Dr Faulkner and Tami answered all her questions and were so nice. The staff is very nice and always smiling. Highly recommend it.

I brought my daughter in for a tongue tie release in February 2023.Beautiful OfficeThe dental office was beautiful and clean. It's also very well lit. It's probably the nicest dental office I've ever been in, you can tell it's a new build out. We stayed in the parents lounge during the procedure and enjoyed the refreshments.ProfessionalismWe sat down with the dentist and was explained the entire procedure and the timetable for results. The Dentist took a few minutes at the end of the discussion to go over any questions we had.We were given some handouts with relevant information and were trained by the dentist on mouth exercises to ensure our child was comfortable in the weeks after the procedure.The procedure was done by a laser that is supposed to make it very accurate. The procedure itself was very quick.About a week after the procedure, someone from their office followed up with us to see how things were going and answered some questions we had.Everyone was friendly and professional.The resultsThe tongue tie release has worked and we suggest using Imagine Children's Dentistry to anyone who needs the procedure done on their child.

They were very welcoming and friendly. Made me feel right at ease and gave me updates as the procedure happened. My daughter really liked Lisa. She was so good and made my daughter feel comfortable. She listened to what my daughter had to say about being at the dentist.

Cannot say enough good things about Imagine!! My son had an accident at daycare and required immediate attention to his teeth. We were welcomed, sent back for X-rays and put into a room right away! Everyone made him feel so comfortable! Dr. Faulkner looked him over and let me know what had to be done. My questions about the procedure and post-op were answered and he was underway with everything being done. The procedure took about 15 minutes and we were on our way home. I most definitely appreciated the follow up call later on to see how he was feeling.
