Wow!!! Bill was so helpful! I recently sold a guitar at this location and had some issues with my bank and getting payment for the guitar. Bill worked very hard over a number of weeks to ensure that there was nothing that their side could do about the situation and provided me with detailed and consistent emails about questions I had or changes to the situation. Thank you bill and ash for being kind, respectful, helpful and hard working. I will be back

Super music store that has expanded into this supersized store. They pretty much carry every modern instrument, recording equipment and PA systems imaginable. They also have an expansive rental offering.The staff are great and the space is clean with lots of light. A great separate acoustic guitar room too.

I bought a new head and realized the power cord was missing the night before the stat thanksgiving holiday. I took a chance and sent an email asking for help on this. I connected with Bill Thain at the store and he hand delivered the cord to my hotel on the stat Monday! Hands down the best service ever at this location!!! Bill Thain… you sir are the man!

I spent two weeks in Alberta, my first ever time in Canada. I was traveling light, so bringing a guitar with me was not an option. I thought I would find a local music store where I could play around on some guitars. The worst-case scenario I had in my head was that I would purchase a guitar and then try to sell it or give it away when it was time to head back to Texas. I just did not want to fly with a guitar, and my wife would definitely not be to happy if I came back home with another.Well, I stumbled into the Long & McQuade on 118 Ave NW in Edmonton, and was immediately blown away with the size of the place. I went straight to the humidity-controlled room where the acoustic guitars are kept. There was a younger, tatted-up guy already in there, picking up guitars, playing bits and riffs, and giving colorful commentary before putting one guitar back and picking up another.After several minutes of admiring the guitars, I noticed that some of them had a different tag, giving a price to puchase
