Coconut Joe's Harbour Bar and Grill
Satisfying meal in Tobermory! Although the food wasn’t super special, it hit the spot for a group of four hungry people looking for comfort food. We came around 6pm and there was no line, but it got busier around 7-8pm.Cocktails were tasty, and I didn’t mind the kettle chips (over a side of fries). Mussels were a hit, and pulled pork sandwich was tasty.Servers were friendly, and the patio was nice! I do wish there was more than 1 bathroom for M/F each, but maybe it was just busy when we went.

Saw this restaurant on Netflix and decided to make a 6 hour round trip drive to taste see it in person. That was 2 years ago and have been going back there ever since, never disappointed each time. Great food, great service and the owner (Joe) is an amazing guy.

While travelling to Tobermory for the first time I was excited to try Coconut Joes" as I had seen it showcased on Netflix's "Restaurant on the Edge". When we arrived getting a table was a little confusing as no one took our name we were just told to have a seat on benchs outside the patio. We waited maybe 15 mins and it was pretty busy so that was great!! Our waiter was pretty cool and got us drinks right away....and took our order soon after!! Food came pretty fast...I ordered the Jerk Chicken tacos and the wife had the Maui burger. The burger is smoked so it is different looking and a different texture the wife liked it but would have preferred charbroiled but hey she can go to Burger King for that....we were in Tobermory. My tacos were tasty but they could have been warmer....no biggie!! The view and the patio made up for it....we felt like we were in Key West....great views and vibe!! Met the owner Mike he was cool and very accomodating....even took a pic with us!! We will definitely be back!! Thanks Coconut Joes!!"

Really great experience overall. The food was good and the service was pretty decent and quick.What sort of plagues Tobermory is really expensive dinning. It's probably because import costs of goods is so expensive, but for a dinner for 2 to come out to 130 after tax/tip hurts a lot. I've spent more on food in 2 days than my hotel bill. Seems to just be a Tobermory problem.Pro tip, come line up for around 515, we were eventually server at 645.

Amazing place and a must try! I ordered the smoked applewood fish with rice and slaw and it was delicious! Don't go too late as they sometimes run out of food towards closing time. It opens later than other restaurants but it's a great dinner option. It's seaside with an amazing view and a nice seaside breeze. It can be pricey depending what you order but it's worth it. I didn't wait long at all for my order either.

This was the best restaurant we went to during our 4 days stay at Tobermory. Great service, very good cocktails, house red wine also good (price reasonable for the wine and cocktails as well) and the most important part food was good. The chowder, not traditional as it has coconut in it, was delicious, plenty of smoked fish in it, very yummy!! The chicken tacos also very good. Its also great to have other options than burgers and fish & chips/fried stuff as in all other restaurants. The view is also great being next to the water. Wish we had discovered this place the first day.

Overhyped place , with ok food , bad drinks and very bad service . We were a party of 8 , they sat us at two separate tables and charged us gratuity of 18% . I would not have minded paying that if the food , drinks nd service were good . The drinks tasted like slushies and cough syrup , none of them felt like had any alcohol in them we ordered both cocktails and virgin drinks none of them were good . We ordered the whitefish meal the server forgot to inform us that they were out of the dish until we checked with her again . The jerk chicken and the mussels were delicious , barring that none of the food we ordered was good .

Coconut Joe's Harbour Bar and Grill
I think this is the best food offering in the area. The curry mussels were amazing and the drinks were also great. We could have split the main dishes into two and still be full, but we took it home. There was a line as expected but it moved pretty fast and it was worth sitting by the water. Great service too.
