Fox Chalet Rentals - Humber Valley Resort

Clean and very nice! Great hot tub and awesome time with friends

Lovely property, really enjoyed our stay here . The place was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. John was very easy to deal with. We would definitely come back again!

Made a reservation and paid the deposit. Three days later get an email saying reservation is confirmed, then within minutes get another email saying our reservation has been cancelled at my request.Didn't receive a personal email or phone call from this business to explain why. I had to call and get answers. It seems they didn't want to rent the cabin for 2 nights on a long weekend. That is completely understandable, and if I had realized that it was a long weekend I would have rented for three nights. But they didn't even give me the option, just cancelled without courtesy of an explanation or courtesy of requesting an extra night extension.

Stayed at the fox chalets this summer july 2021 myself and my husband and family it was a wonderful getway from the busy everyday distractions of life ...... John was very responsive and friendly .... the chalet was super clean and inviting had a wonderful experience and cant wait to return next summerSee you in summerCynthia sweeney

Had a great stay in Humber Valley With Fox Chalets. John was a pleasure to deal with.

Spent 3 nights at one of the 4 bedroom homes August 2021. (take note that the photos for the 4 bedroom home may not be the photos of the property where you'll be staying) Photos online reflect a pool table, fire pit, on the water etc. It took 2 weeks to receive the actual photos of the property we were renting.My husband and I arrived at the home with no issues checking in after receiving the house entry code from John Fox. Mr. Fox asked that we call when we arrived. As soon as I walked into the kitchen I was appalled at the state. it wasn't just dirty, it was filthy. I spent the next 2 hours cleaning (only the kitchen) prior to my parents arriving. I honestly could have spent longer. I called John as requested and shared with him my observations and he said Well you are in the woods" !? What does being in the wood have to do with Dirt ?! I'm not sure what that even means.All of the extra blankets / towels in the closets were just thrown in - not folded.....were they even clean? Who knows....I certainly wouldn't have used them.I definitely would not recommend renting from John Fox or Fox Chalet rentals again unless you don't mind cleaning yourself. I've attached a few photos but the pictures honestly haven't captured how truly dirty the place was."

My husband and I visit the West Coast every summer to visit Family. We like to book a getaway while we are there. We have Stayed at two properties a chalet and condo. Both properties were very clean and well maintained. John was excellent to deal with and I would recommend Fox Rental Chalets to anyone looking for accommodations in Humber Valley

We've stayed at Fox Chalet properties at Humber Valley Resort several times now and every stay has been a great experience. The spacious luxury chalets feature comfortable beds, stunning architecture, beautiful scenery, ample privacy, and come equipped with a hot tub and BBQ. Thank you Fox Chalets for another excellent stay, we can't wait to come back again soon!

My friends and I had an excellent experience renting from Fox Chalets. The house was spotless for arrival, and equipped with everything needed for a great vacation. John is a great host and very easy to communicate with! The property is in a great location too, directly on the Humber River. Most definitely would book again!
